  1. For some strange reason with one particular project I cannot get newly saved images to appear in the File List although they appear in the relevant project folder in Windows Explorer. Also, if I delete images from the project folder in Windows Explorer they still appear in the File List. As far as I can tell this does not happen with other projects. I am using latest version of Studio 10 and Windows 10 and I have tried all the usual thing – re-starting, re-installing and many other things. Edit. Well would you believe it! put the problem in Wnsoft Forum and lo and behold, it cures itself. I would still like to hear from anyone with any ideas what could have happened.
  2. It would have saved me some hassle Mickp
  3. Thanks for that, I've now found it and will check it out. Mickp
  4. Using PTE9, if I start a new project with “Scale keyframes in objects on time change” ticked and after starting to edit I change it to unticked, when altering the time of the slide then the keyframes still change their times. I have done some tests and the same thing happens in reverse ie change from unticked when starting new project to ticked and on a time change the keyframes keep the same time. I have un-installed PTE9 (and 10), rebooted and re-installed PTE9 and the same happens, plus when I open old projects the Scale Keyframes seems to do its own thing rather than following the setting. Help please. Mickp
  5. An amazing collection with wonderful memories. Mickp
  6. Any why is it that many phone photographers always shoot in portrait mode when landscape would be FAR more suitable for the subject and would sit much better when viewing on a monitor or TV set. Do they not realise that you can turn the phone through 90 degrees? Mickp
  7. I also prefer to fade into a pan shot just after the pan has started and fade out just before it finishes which together with Barry's suggestion gives a very smooth flow. Mickp
  8. A lovely show and as always expertly done. The eye might not be working so well but the grey matter is certainly in tact. Christmas wishes and I hope you have a healthier New Year. Mickp
  9. Not that I know much about video but reading this thread I guess the reason PTE does not offer it is that there is no advantage in it. If you think there is please say what it is. Mickp.
  10. Hi Maureen, Tried to review on SSC but could not get typing to work in the box. Anyway, I thought the early morning shots, presumably from the upper deck on your cruise liner were exceptional. The extra height gave you a really different view from many of the pictures you see. The rest of the show was as usual excellent and brought back many memories - I'll have to go there again. Mickp
  11. I concur with Igor as I only use Microsoft antivirus and have never had a problem. Mickp
  12. You're right, how strange - one for the boffins. mickp
  13. Yes, as i said - 'a lifetimes work for me' but I'm sure some of our more knowledgeable members will find that fascinating. Mickp
  14. Wow! how long did that take - looks like a lifetimes work to me. Mickp
  15. I have to say that Barry's tutorial explained his method very well and having used it I am sure I will use it again although, depending on the music and if there is any voice over, it is not the only way of doing things. The end result is the important bit however it is achieved. Mickp
  16. From their info it would seem SRecorder is not yet compatible with W.10. It does download and will appear to record from YouTube but the saved file does not play. Mickp
  17. Another way which works for me for the centre image is 1) Blank image. 2) In O & A add image (any), adjust to size and apply border in properties with Framing checked 3) Add Mask Template to image and in pop up window shape to rectangle with square corners. 4) Click Mask (Rectangle) and re-size to fit inside of Border of image 5) Add image you want to Mask Content 6) You can do whatever you want to this image and it stays within the Border. No doubt you will advise on any unseen complications
  18. Thanks Dave, very well explained. Mickp
  19. For the Bride and Groom (and maybe Mums and Dads) it has to be 20 minutes minimum and I would probably not do an edited version for lesser relatives and friends but if I did it would be 10 minutes max., or as Ronnie says assuming that the quality of the video and the editing are up to it. When I have done these I usually start with some old photos from childhood etc. of the Bride and Groom, which tends to hold the interest and pad it out a bit. Mickp
  20. Hi Andrew, Nice to see your post and good to know you are still about. Very moving show especially if you have visited these vast cemeteries. Mickp
  21. Barry, an excellent interview with the best landscape photographer that I am happy to be acquainted with. Mickp
  22. Please see my previous post as FSD indication disappearing and reappearing follows a pattern. Again probably it is not meant to Mickp
  23. I have noticed, on my system at least, that if you add slides to Slides using the default time and transition time then the "Full Duration" disappears bottom left in Timeline. However, if you then alter the slide time and the transition time of a single slide by dragging in Timeline or altering the boxes in Slides, then the "full Duration" reappears for that slide and the slides adjacent to it. Not sure if that is what is meant to happen. Mickp
