  1. Lin made a slideshow of a 3D cube rotation ( download his version here ). I tried to make one too using a different method and was amazed how easy it is now with PTE version 6 beta 21 (and next betas/versions). If you like this slideshow and want to make such an effect with your own pictures and text, the template is available HERE on TheDom Shop. The template is FREE. Please download the exe for a much better output quality than the video. - Here is an other 3D Cube effect but this time you are INSIDE the cube. This is very dynamic and it will give your audience a real impression of depth and immersion. The template is for 6 pictures, available in 4:3 AND 16:9 screen format, for 4:3 AND 3:2 pictures format. You can purchase it here on TheDom Shop. To see what this animation looks like, please download the demo (exe file) for a much better quality compared to the video. -
  2. - Here is a simple menu I made today. Nothing revolutionary but it can make a nice introduction for your slideshow. The animation uses 3D transformation that gave me the ability to make everything directly within PicturesToExe. (reflections of text and pictures that are not really visible in the small video but you will notice them in the exe). It means you will need no photoshopping to use you own pictures and type your own text in the template. If you download the EXE, you will notice that there is a loop... until the user clicks on one of the thumbnails to start the slideshow or go directly to a specific chapter. This template will be FREE.
  3. I've been experimenting with some frame based animation in Pics2Exe. I made a side view of a running skeleton animation at 30 frames per second (for roughly eight seconds). I wanted create this for a few reasons. One of which was to see what it would turn out like. Another was to try different things with it once it was completed. I often want to include a frame based animating element in a project, but don't want to go through the hassle of sequencing the frames. I thought if I made this, anytime I want to add a frame based animation to a project, I could just use the running skeleton. Then substitute the running frames for whatever I wanted to use in that project. (example: a bird flying, a horse running etc). As long as it was 30 frames per second. So I thought I would upload it in case other people would find it useful for the same reason. I have included all the picture and PTE files. I have made 1 though 8 second versions and few others as well. I have also included a set of .PSD files with a shadow layer underneath the skeleton. I kept the shadow on these a separate layer, so the shadow could be set to different levels of opacity or be blurred, etc. I have also included an exe of a few things I tried with it. I hope it can be useful to someone as a template (of sorts), or if anyone wants to use the running skeleton in something. Something to note: It isn't truly 30 frames per second, but it's as close as you can make it. If you use many skeletons in the same project(slide) it can be a bit taxing on system resources. 6. You can watch the video but I recommend to download the exe file for a much better output quality. - The embossed labels are directly done within PTE. You can do it very easily by yourself : The label itself is a PTE rectangle with gradient color and the font is "Plastique" you can download here on dafont.com In the template, you have the ability : - to choose your own text and color for the embossed labels . - to insert as many pictures as you wish in full screen between each "chapter". The template is available HERE for 4:3 and 16:9 screen format and for 4:3 pictures and 3:2 pictures. The hands are those of my girlfriend.

The purpose of the Templates Section is to share and promote templates for PicturesToExe created by members. Templates are actually PicturesToExe's projects. They can save a lot of time and work. They will be useful for beginners and intermediate users. Or they can be a source of inspiration for more advanced users. Those templates will help to promote PicturesToExe and show what can be done. You can post your FREE or COMMERCIAL templates. If needed, ask for support in the topic of the concerned template.
  15. Please download the exe file of this new slidesow. This animation has nothing in common with my Trio demo. - In this slideshow, I tried to display two pictures by slide (but not on everey slide). Please note that everything was done within PTE (no photoshoping). It should be smooth even on old configurations. Comments welcome.
  16. Please download the exe file of this new demo. - I started with an animation and declined it in 10 different ways. Please note that everything was done within PTE, except I had to flip the images verticaly for the reflection and I had to make it in Photoshop because PTE doesn't offer this feature (yet ?). I worked a lot on the soundtrack and included sound effects to enhance the animation.
  17. Hello all: (theDom principally) There is some pte template made by TheDom, (or other forum member), with the panos fx Big Pictures (atn. photoshop plugin) Thanks morits.
  18. Here is a mix of two previous demos I made : Old Movie Effect and Silent Film effect. [ 1 minute and 10 seconds - 8.56Mb ] All the effects of those previous demos are combined in a single animation. Donwload it here.
  19. Here is a new slideshow of Libya. [ 8 minutes and 17 seconds - 35.73Mb ]
  20. Here is a new photos pile effect. You can download the demo to see what it looks like. If you like the demo, you can download this FREE template to use with your own pictures. The explanations to use it are described on the download page. I hope you will enjoy it.
  21. Almost 3 years ago, I made a demo to show what can be done with PTE Masks. I used pictures of the french model/actress Laetitia Casta I found on the internet. Here is a slideshow with the same idea, but I added masks and blurred effects for a dynamic composition with my own pictures. [ 10.33Mb - 2 minutes and 54 seconds ] You can download it here. The animation should be smooth, even with old configuration. I think those effects add a visual appeal of the sequence. What do you think ? Instead of doing it in Photoshop, I really would like to be able to control the blur effect directly in PTE. Am I the only one ?
  22. Here is my last attempt to make the well known magnifying glass effect. This effect is applied to various insects. [ 3 minutes and 30 seconds - 11.12Mb ] Download this slideshow here Comments welcome.
  23. UPDATE : new version released. Same link I released in september 2006 a first demo of a curling page effect. When I watch it, I realized how powerful PTE is today ! Here is a completely new slideshow compared to my first version. [ 1 minute and 30 seconds - 5.07 MB ] Download it here. This effect was completely impossible with previous version of PTE. This effect was really brainteasers for me. The slideshow is not finished yet (at the end the pile will be empty) and there are still small defects I plan to improve. But here is the first version. I took the pictures today. You can tell it was a rainy day...
