The series is being repeated on UK BBC2 TV, so it got me hooked again watching the repeats. So that was the inspiration for this show. Magnum PI I watched infrequently, but Rockford was a must, even drove past the site in Malibu where Jim's trailer used to be parked in 95 on the last day of our honeymoon holiday, that's dedication.
