jmmills2000@gmail.com
Help: I seem to have mislaid the transition lines which appear when in Timeline view. Does anyone know how to switch them back on again?
Guest Yachtsman1
Hi Jim What do you mean by "Transition Lines"? See attached screen shot of timeline view of latest version of PTE. Yachtsman1
jmmills2000@gmail.com
The grey line which runs on your screen from slide number 1 to to slide number 2 etc. I know you can go to slide view and change the number but it's much easier when you have the lines. They were showing earlier but they have now vanished!!!
Contentawarephil
Those grey lines will only show if you have a Transition Duration set to e.g. 2 seconds. You can then drag the right hand side to alter the duration in the Timeline. Phil P.S. Hover your mouse over the zero point until the double arrow shows and then drag to the right. Guest Yachtsman1
Hi Jim It could also depend on the scale you have your screen set to. If the duration of the screen view of your time line is say 20 seconds as tlv2, the distance between slides will change as will the size of the grey lines. In tlv3 the scale of the screen is 1 minute. To change the screen scale, in the time line view, hold down cntrl & rotate the mouse wheel. Yachtsman1.
