Webp Executable file size

Since I have been using webp files (exported from Boxy SVG) in my animation slideshows I have noticed the video version is smaller than the executable. Usually it's the opposite and the video is larger.

I have compared file sizes and it appears that webp files are maybe stored uncompressed for faster loading? A single 545K webp image creates a 17MB executable file.

If I want a small EXE I should use .png files? Just curious.

Thanks,
Tom

Tom,

Currently we use universal video decoders to load webp or tiff images. Once you add at least one of these files, the executable show includes video decoders.

P.S. Since version 10.0.13, video decoders are smaller on 15% in an executable show.
