Updated EXIF IPTC doesn't appear to be honoured

Hello,

I'm using the latest pro version, along with two text objects using EXIF IPTC data. I've observed that if the image has, since it was added to the slideshow, had the data updated, the new information is never displayed.

I've tried adding, removing the image. And checked the data in several other applications.

Is the image data cached somewhere?

Hi Matthew,

If you replace an image (even the same file path) using a command "Change image file" in a popup menu for a selected slide in the Slide list, all preview images and EXIF/IPTC tags will be updated immediately.

Full screen preview automatically shows updated tags.

Also you can simply close PTE AV Studio and run the app again to update thumbnail pictures in the Slide list or Mini Player window.

PTE AV Studio caches 3 slides in advance from a selected slide. So you can go slide No. 10 and then return to the 1st slide to see the updated image.
