  1. Hey! Thanx Ken.

I havent been on here since last-time I replied, anyway, just to answer your question b4 about choosing FULLSCREEN - Yes, i did choose it.

I have read the above, it helps alot.

I was just wondering if the problem was with PTE software regarding this problem because I never get this prob when using Proshow Gold to produce a dvd slideshow, the final output is exactly as viewed on the computer screen. As I mentioned earlier though PTE keeps the sharpness and displays the photos in their original form, as proshow gold loses slight sharpness in final output- I like to view my photos in slideshows as good as a Photo is viewed after printing it.

I guess I will have to trial & Error.

    Thanx again,

    Mike.

  2. I have downloaded the latest 4.31 version, same problem .

I have since made all my photos(100 plus 4blanks) 1024pixels on the longest side, and a file size of 200-250kb per photo.

This project then worked perfect in Ulead and dvd was completed successfully, except for one big problem on playback...

All photos were clipped on left-hand-side, or on right-hand-side.....Dont know why?

I then tried the same project in "ProShow Gold v2" and had no probs whatsoever.

I dont need to alter each photo to 1024pixels either in Proshow. A much larger File works perfect in Proshow.

I prefere the final photo quality in PicturesToexe to Proshow though.

    Also the transitions are smoother.

Can someone tell me why there is "clipping" on my playback?

    Mike.

  3. Help needed please...

I am using Ulead Dvd MovieFactory2.

When I get to the 'Output' stage, "Burning Progress- converting videos", I get as far as 9% and a window opens saying "Failed to convert video file Error 80041c21"

    What is this problem?

Never had this b4......I'm using 4.30 Pte.

    Mike.

  4. OK!

All sorted now, Ulead & PTE working together quite happy!

Only way I could get it to work was by Opening Ulead then....

1...(Start project page) Tick 'NEW' highlite 'Dvd'....

(at this point I was ticking 'existing project' to browse to my slideshow folder).

2...(Next Interface)..You need to 'Add Video', and not 'Add Slideshow'. Due to the AVI being created. You look for the AVI file PTE created in the browser window. Ulead should now recognise the AVI file, from here in should be straight forward.

Thanks to everyone who looked at this 'POST' and couldnt help! :P

(I am now burning DVDS a treat) :D:D

    Mike.

  5. I just burnt the Slideshow in Easy Creator, but am not happy as there is small artifects appearing-shimmering aswell. So, I created a 'New'Slideshow with same photos in Ulead Moviefactory2 and did a Burn, guess what? The Burn was Perfect,I can see now why Ulead is recommended with PTE. But I still cant get the 'AVI File' to OPEN in 'Ulead'?????

How come others get the AVI Files to OPEN in 'ULEAD' & others Cant??? <_<

    Mike.

  6. Heres the Steps I took and Failed to get Ulead to Recognise The File created in PTE....

    1. I added photos in PTE, then clicked the VIDEO button.

    2. I then Chose 'Dvd Video Disc', clicked the CREATE AVI button.(For Ulead Dvd Factory2 was ticked)

    3. I Saved to a 'Folder' I created.

    4. The 'Create of AVI File Encoding' takes its Action...

    5. I then OPENED Ulead Moviefactory2.

    6. Selected 'Dvd' and then 'Existing Folder' to allow me to Browse for my Folder.

    7. I Opened the Folder but....NOTHING THERE?????? :(

    Whats Happening Guys!

When I opened the Folder in 'Windows' the File was there! But Ulead Cant recognise it.

    Now What?

    Mike.

  7. As I'm totally new to this Software and Forum, I have viewed many Links etc but, dissapointed really as to finding just Tips here and there. :(

What I would like to see is a "How To" Post, step by step etc, on how to Create a "Dvd Slideshow" using Jpeg's.( I use Nero6 for Burning).

It would also be a good Idea to do a "How To-step by step" to Create a Dvd Video Show using PTE.

The reason why I write this is because we are in the DVD World now, I have a Pioneer105 Dvd Writer, also 4 Dvd Players throughout my Home but cant play PTE Slideshows. :(

Is there a 'How To' create a CD using PTE, to Playback on a Dvd Player(not computer) already on this FORUM?

    Help Needed!

    Mike.
