[Default position of dialogue boxes]

Hi Igor,

When I click on an option box, say the Comment box, to show the title of a slide, the dialogue box defaults to the centre of the screen.

Is it possible to have the box appear by the item I clicked on, or the mouse to move to the box? Can this be done for all boxes that default to the centre of the screen. It will save many mouse miles!

[Apply an 'Action' to a folder of images]

Hello, 

I don't know whether this is already possible, but in Photoshop I can use actions to apply changes to an image by recording the process and then saving it to apply at will.

I have folders that I use every time I make a show. they have the image authors names on. Is it possible to have that folder of slides to have preset timings and fades? 

As it is, every show I make I have to keep altering them manually, which takes me a lot of time. It would be far easier to be able to drag them from the folder predone.

I also wish to know if you could do an 'Action' that would duplicate a slide, title the first and amend the timings, as well as other changes.

I feel that these abilities would be very useful. 

Please forgive me if these are already available, but I haven't found the ability to do this in V8.0.15

[Attach Slide options to every image in a folder before insertion]

I would welcome the ability to have a folder of images (competition entrants names) to have the ability to have the slide options (time, transition) attached to them, so that every image does not have to be done every time (multiple entries) it goes into a show.

[Slide Title Duration]

Is it possible to have a slides title come up on an image for a set time and then disappear to leave the image with out the title?

I can see that I can show it on the slide and as far as I can work out it will stay on there for the duration of the slide.

Something like that, or something written into the program that says files coming from A or B folder will have X & Y applied to them on import

I tried it, it's clever, but it still seems like a bit of a faf.

I think they should let us store our own defaults on images in a folder.

Hi Dave, I have had a look at the styles option and I'm not sure if that will save them all in the folder for future use.

Here is a screen shot. Each slide is a 1400 x 1050 pixel image that gets dropped in after the entrants image.

There are multiple images from the same entrant in different categories so it would be easier to drag and drop from the folder if they are saved as preset files.

BTW I am using V8 if that makes a difference.

Hi,

I am making slideshows for a number of club photo competitions and I have a folder of slides with the entrants names on.

These names can repeatedly occur in different categories over different competitions, and indeed different years

I am wondering if I can pre-apply timings and transitions, etc to these to be saved in the slides so I do not have to edit each one when it appears?

It would make composition of the shows so much easier.
