it would be great if we could add things like copyright, title etc to the output file properties.

I would suggest making 64bit exe presentations only. If someone needs to display the presentation on a 32 bit machine they can always render an mp4.

Using PTE 10 Beta 20, creating a backup doesn't always include all the files. I have a project that includes several video files and jpgs. When I create a backup from File->Create Backup in zip then the resulting zip file only include one mp4.

 

Please download the Weather.zip file from the following location:

Then unzip the file to a location of your choice.

Open "Weather d.pte" and try to create a backup.

The resulting backup will only include a single mp4 when there are, in fact, several.

 

The same thing happens in PTE 9.

Hi Igor,

When I try to capture a video, it seems to work ok!

So these are the steps to reproduce in the sample project.

After the mp4 video there is a slide with some text ("Text Slide 3") in it.

1. I then click on Slide Options and the dialog starts with the 'Main' tab active (this is important).

2. Click on Transition and choose anothe type. It doesn't matter which one.

3. Click OK

4. Click on a different slide.

5. Select the Slide ("Text Slide 3").

6. Click on Slide Options. This time Transition should be active.

7. Change the Transition again and click OK.

8. Click on a different slide and PTE then just hangs.

Thanks for replying so quickly. It locks when changing the transition to another type. The example project can be used to demonstrate this but I'll do a video as well.

I've been using PTE 10 beta 13 and found it's working really well. However when I try to change the transition of a slide immediately after showing an MP4, PTE locks up. I can reproduce this at will and have created a small project that can be used to demonstrate the problem. You can find the example project here:

Simply try the change the transition for Text Slide 3 and move to a different slide.
