Hi,
I know there are a number of PTE users out there who have seen the light and are using MACs!
However is anybody using Aperture?
John
Hi John
I do use aperture for quite a lot of my pictures but I also use elements for other things that aperture can't do.Overall
I find it very useful for sorting my pictures into libraries and general adjustments.

That light you are seeing is coming from the screens of the Windows machines happily running PTE shows :D/>/> :D/>/>
Yes the light is from the blue screen when windows has decided to go it's
own way and shut down the programme for the umpteenth time.

It now runs and looks great on my 27 inch Mac
I now only run a few windows programmes on my Dell 17 inch XPS and I am
looking forward to a Mac version of PTE probably some time in the future.

Hi Barry
I have downloaded the pte prommo and red balloons and they run perfectly
When I download Montage it unzips to an app but does not run so there must
be a problem with the upload.
Chris
p.s. the ipad version does run but is not the best quality

New slide show at the page below called A Gentle Flow

Hi Barry
Downloaded the Mac version but does not run
Had the same trouble with Montage but Fantasia did run

You can run any version of Windows including XP using VMware or Parallels. This is much better since you can use Mac software at the same time. Its a pain to have to reboot all the time for Bootcamp. There is very little difference in speed.
I go along with crossfade on parallells. I run quite a few windows programmes including PTE without any problems and you can cut and paste between windows and Mac

Thanks guys, just a little fun thing - I wish a Mac user would try this and let me know if everything works there.

Chris,
Yes, I discovered their new website yesterday exactly when we launched our new website.
We started works on our new web design on past September. I sent drafts of our new web design to several users of PicturesToExe six months ago
Thanks Igor
I do not use the other program now as PTE does everything I want. It justs get better and better. The web site now looks very proffesional.

With everyone's help I have finally managed to burn a BluRay disc.
Ray is spot on regarding the PTE h.264 file cannot be read in Sony Vegas and so I went back to using an avi file and this time it actually worked. This is rather strange because that is the way I tried in the first place.
Lin.
I tried the software you gave me a link to and it did burn a disc but there was no sound.
Ron
I have produced many DVD's with PTE without any problems but you will need some authuring software if you want to do multiple shows in Bluray.
I am also glad I have been using rewritable Bluray discs because there would have been an awful lot of coasters flying about.
Best regards to everyone

Ray
Thnaks for the link, I have tried it but still no luck.
Lin
I use Sony Vegas Platinum 9 for all my HD videos without any problems burning to Bluray.
Ron
I should have said Proshow Producer by Photodex. I do not like to go on about it on a PTE forum but it does the job from within the software with excellent results.

I have had to admit defeat on trying to burn a Blu-ray disc with PTE. I have tried different combinations including the one Lin suggested but still to no avail.
I have now done the same show in Producer and burned a Blu-ray disc within minutes and the quality is stunning. I am not knocking PTE in any way as I think for producing shows for computer playback there is nothing to touch it.
Thanks to Lin for your reply

Hi Lin
I may be going about this the wrong way but what I do is
Create the show @ 1900 x 1080 and then produce an AVI file that I then use Vegas movie studio to produce the mp4
file to burn to the Blueray disc.
Is this the correct way?
When I play the disc in a Blueray player I get nothing.
I have also tried AVS video converter without success.
I am also using Windows 7
Intel Quad CPU Q8200 2.33GHZ
64 Bit
Nvidia GT 120 graphics card
Many thanks

Even with a Blueray writer and using other software I have still not been able to produce a Pte show on Blueray.
If someone has any ideas I would like to hear them.
I have burned a Proshow Producer show straight from the software to a Blueray disc without any problems.

All my software runs fine on 64bit Vista. I only had to update a driver for my Epson printer.

Problem solved
I ran the video builder seperatley and the first thing it asks is for a key
Sorted

I have downloaded PTE 5.6 on to my new computer and added the key but that was for the standard version.I bought the video builder seperately a while ago but I cannot get this key into the registry. When I look in the registry on my old computer I can see the v/b key but as I say I cannot get it to work on my new one.
Any ideas would be appreciated

The Dom
I like your creative work and this latest one is excellent.
There is no doubting your photography skills and I think adding movement to a show adds life to it. I hope you keep up your great work.
