I am having a similar problem. I downloaded the new beta ...loved it. I was running it and photoshop cs at the same time when both programs froze. When I restarted everything, pics2exe would no longer work, and my cd recorder stopped working! I had to uninstall the beta version and go back to 4.20. (Plus delete my new slide show)... everything went haywire! 4.20 seems to working again now, (although slowly) and I recreated my slideshow (240 photos) but now the cd recorder refuses to burn! UGH!
