Hello, back again after a 5 year absense

I made an error trying to name a new slideshow and somehow named it pictures 2 ,pte...I cant add another show or get rid of the m istaken file...what can I do? I tried reinstalling ver 9 no dice help please?? ..I can't understand how windows 10 would allow that to happen without a system notice jongru.
