  1. Hi Pushu,

Yep the trial version only gives one output option in ulead 3 , VCD which is pretty poor in M H O  , no other options like DVD / SVCD appear to be available to the user I purchased the full version and all is fine the smarter move by Techman of getting ulead 2 for $10 instead of about $90 including tax in Europe has to be the way to go there is a little bit of a learning curve but most of my problems were found in the Forum with some great posts by Ken Cox B) and others

  2. Hi All ,

I have not really been following this closely so apologies if I am repeating a previous answer , It was my experience that with the Ulead Movie Factory TRIAL version the only option for output was VCD in my humble opinion and minor expertise VCD SUCKS in so far as quality is concerned , now I could be wrong (please feel free to correct an idiot ) but having purchased the full Ulead and plauged the very wise and helpful Ken Cox ;) it required an uninstall and reinstall of Ulead to get all the output options TA KEN before I could view the show in all it glory to anything near our beloved PTE exe on PC B) I have also recieved great advise from Alan Lyons SVCD a less expensive way with good results no doubt Alan has this well cracked any other posts found through "search " were so well recieved they also deserve a mention the biggest stumbling Block was the Trial Ulead  though thank you everyone for the input ;) any one have any problems with moire ?????in a show with grooms the pinstripe trousers ended up looking like Army Combats! <_<

  3. Hi Nata ,

I was once in the same unfortunate situation and was dealt with swiftly and without incident , from then on I have had a copy of the key kept on a disc for such occasions this is a good idea as I have formated my drive more than once since , this will be dealt with soon I am sure good luck :)

  4. Ok so where is the photo shop expert for this one ?? :D thought I read somewhere we had one !!! to record an action in 5.5 open up the action dialouge box in 7 it is different and as I am using 7 then it is probably a SLIGHTLY different process as the box differs from what I can remember in 5.5 you go to the bottom of the actions window for the record button a small square turns red when clicked ( I think ...... different in 7) you of course have a file open jpg or whatever now resize said file and click end record name the action you now have an action saved maybe someone with 5.5 ( gotta be a few 5.5ers out there ) will verifiy or correct me if I went wrong which is a good even bet , I am NO EXPERT

ps you can email me if you like and if I can help out I will

PPPS if you hover the courser across the buttons they will give out their function I THINK but either ways you have to record an action ( any action sharpen / desaturate / levels anything you care to repeat you can have lots of specific actions or multiple actions for as long as you are recording this process will save every action you do for a given set ) )

  5. :) Hello larry welcome to the forum

    Have Fun

  7. Hi Garris

If I remember rightly in 5.5 you must first set up an action by recording your chosen resize first and save the action for example 1024x768 at 72 dpi and save this action presuming you know how to record an action go to file > automate > Batch > action select your saved resize action> choose folder you are resizing > designate a destination folder for instance a folder in my documents or on your desktop and it should play this action for all files in the original folder copying them to the destination folder hope this helps

  10. Hi All,

:( Well it had to happen didn't it , what else were they to do lots of money invested in stars and lots of talent not being paid enough just like a few Photographers I know  good item Alan maybe the wise ones like yourself could come up with a permanent post in the presentations forum on what to do and where to go....... Keep it straight and Rock on ,

    Clive.

  11. Hi Liz,

Do you use Mp3 or wav files ????? if you have too large a file this causes problems for the processor I think doh! :( there are lots of reasons also if you are viewing the show from the cd it will most likely give you jumps it is recommended by other more knowledgable members to save to hard drive before viewing the show if you give more details as to what settings you use there is bound to be some help good luck with your shows, ;)

    keep on Rocking Clive,

  12. This is really a hot potato but copyright listen here ...........................A photographer sold a print taken at a wedding in Dublin to one of the other companies also dealing with the wedding , the other company then use the print in an advertisement photographer gets sued for over 20 000 euro a good bit over 20 even though the other company used the photo......... PUBLISHING RIGHTS belong to the client had he given the print away well he would have got off , You got to respect the Authors rights or pay a BIG price in the end I am not naming any Companies for LEGAL REASONS !!!Keep on Rocking,

    Regards Clive. ;)

  13. Hi Marriane, ;)

Welcome to the Forum you are going to love this programme personally I put text etc, together in photoshop one reason is if the person trying to view your show does not have the same fonts well you get the picture I just find it easier to plan the show this way " your fades well two things size of Jpg would be one thing also performance of processor and if large music files are used all make fades jumpy so try 800x600 dpi or smaller ( this is only a starting point you do understand it is your show after all ) the lenght of the fades are set in customise slide > effects tick fade box go to bottom and set duration to say 3000 for a slow and hopefully smooth transition then 3 you can preview without creating a slide show and save the .pte file but to distribute it like this the other person is going to have P TO EXE to view this type of file I " THINK " as for Blackcountry by BBDIGITAL Barry has some tutorial CD's for a reasonable cost available on his site I hope you get lots more help with object editor I do not use this facility but lot do and are probably right to do so I just do it my way so I can not really help out there Keep on Rocking

    Regards Clive
