Great News Igor,
That will probably make PTE the only "Twin-Platform" Slideshow Program available anywhere in
the World. This will certainly find many users in Business and Design and the IT Industry once
the whole System is finished.
As you know, I said two years ago that the "Solid-State Computer" is just around the corner,
well from my sources in the PC Industry it seems that Mac are about to release such a PC.
So far its known as the Mac-G12, its completely solid state ~ with Solid State 'Hard Drive' and
embedded Op.System ~ no moving parts at all and will have a 12" Screen.
What an oppurtunity for 'PTE-Mac V.1' and in saying that, may I wish you and the Team good
luck and great speed in this major project.
Brian.Conflow.
It's already here - the ASUS Eee PC:

...not at the expense of the developments which Igor and his team are working on at the moment please.

I agree. I don't think anyone is suggesting that auto pan/zoom is a substitute for manually animating the show. However, it is useful in certain applications.

Like, Dennis, I also have an unusual time frame to make my slide shows and getting them out. Applying pan/zoom to 1500 pictures in 10 different slideshow in a day is quite a task. When I use ProShow Gold, I apply auto pan/zoom to all pictures, then did a preview. Any image that did not pan/zoom to my liking, I just adjust those particular images (around 10%). By doing this, I can get several shows out othe door in one day. Unfortunately, I'm not happy with the quality of PSG shows. Even though some people might not use it, please consider adding this capability for some who will use it.
Thanks.
Warmest regards,
-Ben
I agree, an auto pan/zoom option similar to ProShow Gold/Producer would be a useful feature.

You can change the colour of the pasteboard area to any colour you desire by Shift-clicking with the paintbucket tool on the pasteboard. Of course, pick your colour first.

I would like to be able to randomise the pan and zoom effects for selected slides with one click in the upcoming version 5, like in ProShow Gold and MemoriesOnTV.

It is a full laptop with a Celeron processor, capable of running full-blown Windows, even if it doesn't ship with Windows natively. It's got USB ports, a VGA port and an Intel GMA 900 GPU, and everything else a "full-blown laptop" would have. What is it missing that wouldn't qualify it as a laptop? The only thing that's different is that it has a solid-state drive.
