I got an e-mail telling that I have a personal message on the WNsoft forum. The message was from "mignulikz", and the message was "please help". That text was underlined, and when I clicked on it, the browser tried to open the address "sabl.ru", but it did not open. I don´t know what to think about this kind of message - hopefully it was not some kind of illegal activity. If you know what this is all about, please tell me.

All files avalaible on my previous website are now uploaded except my PTE projects.
This is one of my first PTE projects I upload.
I have about 15/20 other projects to share.
But all my demos are already avalaible.
I still have to make thumbnails for some files (especially for Lin Evans files) and to improve descriptions.
If the authors can help me, they are more than welcome.
But there are already 115 files avalaible!

In case you would need it, there is an other board style avalaible.
But you have to register (only take 20 sec).
Once registered, go in your profile and change from "Solaris" (default) to "subSilver" board style.

Hi Fish,
Go to the bottom left corner of your Windows Desktop and find the "Start" button (green). Left click your mouse on this then look for the "Run" choice near the bottom right of the resulting menu. Left click the mouse on "Run" then type "dxdiag" into the "Open" dialog box and then left click the mouse on O.K.
Click on the various tabs to read the content.

Hi Michel,
The files are now again downloadable. I tried it on my weakest video system:
Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset - 64 meg
The pan was smooth on the pano with a very slight hesitation during the fade transition to the second image. All else was quite smooth.
Gateway 915GAG with 1 GIG RAM
Sound: Realtek 100 type WDM sound card

You can go to Start, Run then type in dxdiag and click O.K. This will tell you everything you need about the video card, system, etc.

Hello everybody,
Sorry for the lack of news. I was quite busy this week-end, I had a family meeting.
Anyway, first of all, a huge THANK YOU! to everybody who took time to send me files.
Thank you too for your very kind support and proposition for help.
As suggested, I will make a list of what is missing and will post it.
I will update it when a file is received.
For the future, I still plan to start a new site.
I don't know how the hacker did, but to prevent an other attack I will use a secure php script.
I'm still in the process to find the right script for my need.
In the same time, I will :
- classify the files
- rewrite the description for each one
- find the links of the original threads
- make a screen capture for each file.
I would appreciate help, especially with the descriptions.
Concerning the categories and their description, I will make a first list.
Some of you proposed their help. I will contact them by PM.
There is a lot of work. That's why it may take some time to rebuild a new download center.
But be sure that I will do my best as fast as possible.
And once again, thank you to all of you.

PS : to clarify things, I had two problem in the 10 last days.
First : PC out of order.
But I was lucky, because I didn't loose any datas on my HD.
Second : Sites hacked : TheDom Sharing Place, TheDom Sharing Links and a third site which was a private site called "Les Z@mis" (" The Friends"). A community of friends, the site beeing a way to communicate, to plan happenings, to share photos, blogs, etc, etc...
It's probably the biggest loss : the site was running for more than two years. I spend a huge amount of time on it and there is nothing more.
But it's my fault, I should have done backups.
Actually, I'm wondering if the first problem is not linked with the second one or if it's only a coincidence...

Courage mon ami. Shattered to hear of your misfortune. Unfortunately, there are those, lacking the ability to create anything worthwhile themselves, ensure their effect upon the world by destroying the works of others.
It occurs to me that, as a result of the generous response you will get from this forum, you will end up being overwhelmed by duplication.
Therefore, two things I can offer to do:
a) mail you a list of all the stuff I have, that was downloaded from your site. Then, when you get all the data, members are sending, it will be a simple matter to see if I have anything that you are missing.
put into English anything you find easier or quicker, to write in French. John

Thank you for offering your help.
First of all, you need winzip.
You can download it here : http://www.winzip.com/es/downauto.cgi?file...exe〈=ES
(It's the spanish version
)Once downloaded, install it.
Once it is installed, go in the folders where the files you downloaded are.
Right click on an empty space of your folder and choose "Create Winzip file".
Rename this file "ForDom" by example.
After, drag and drop all the files you have on this file.
They will be automatically included in the archive.
At the end, connect to http://transferbigfiles.com/ and follow the instructions.
(for the recipient email, use thefreedom@ [no_spam]free.fr, remove [no_spam] of course).

This is the secand time only that I have uploded An AV. This was inspierd by one of thedom's AV's uesing the "synthesis" agition I hope you like it. Put "Curl Pages" effect in your slideshow !

With those masks, no need to modify your pictures in a photo editor and to save them as .png files.
The exe stays small (2,08 MB for a two minutes show including music) and the effect is really easy to do in PTE.
You just have to move the mask on the corner of your picture you want.
And if you wish, you can add some animation effects of course (over-done in the demo but it's only a demo).
The "Curl Page" masks used in this demo were realized following the instructions of the Panosfx's "Curl Page" tutorial. Thanks to him !
Those masks are included in the "White Frame Masks - V2" pack :

And now, the pack contains each "white frame" masks in two size :
- Large : width 1024 pixels
- Small : width 500 pixels
I added a "bonus" at the end of this demo using small "White Frame" Masks.

I think your presentation is quite nice and very creative. I liked the view through the hanging willows. I like the idea of the "moving frame" created by showing the near and far shore as you pan. There could be any number of ways to flow objects through this view of the river. Thanks for sharing.

I don't think so, my black filmstrips don't have any text on it and I think it's a very nice improvement.
Just two minor suggestions for your show :
- remove the pixelate shadow of your text, set a "regular" one
- add a transition (a slow fade by example) beetween your introduction and the beginning of the pan.

you are right the filmstrips are form a photo mag, thay some times give out free templats in ther mags.

I do have the original "A Day By The Water" that contains a lot more
images as well as an earlier version of the pan, created in PTEXE 4.45. but the "Pop Ups" were
different. If you want to see it let me know?
