  1. Please note that it's Release Candidate build.

It sets an association with .pte project files,

Creates a program group and shortscuts without "Beta" prefix in the Start menu.

VideoBuilder starts without quick flashing of a splash screen.

And if no further bugs more, it will be marked as a final release. I hope we'll officially release version 5.5 within 2 weeks.

    Version 5.5 C3

  2. I get the same results as you if I use Animation on any slide. When I remove slides with animation creating DVD works fine.

Can anyone (admin?) confirm that I SHOULD be able to create a DVD containing slides with animation with 5.1?

This is the information for my "video card" on my Acer Aspire 1640 laptop:

Card name: Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family

    Manufacturer: Intel Corporation

Chip type: Intel® 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset

    DAC type: Internal

    Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2592&SUBSYS_008F1025&REV_03

    Display Memory: 128.0 MB

    Current Mode: 1280 x 800 (32 bit) (60Hz)

    Monitor: Plug and Play Monitor

    Monitor Max Res: 1600,1200

    Driver Name: ialmrnt5.dll

    Driver Version: 6.14.0010.4363 (English)

    DDI Version: 9 (or higher)

According to what I have read on the Internet, the Intel chipsets are integrated into the motherboard and there is no video card, so therefore the video card can not be upgraded.

In your What's New In 5.1 Version you stated "> Encoding of DVD-Video disc (and AVI) works in 2-4 times faster now due to optimization for dual-core CPUs and using of hardware acceleration for video post-processing (if modern video card installed)."

I'm not sure, but I think the reason why there is a black screen and no pictures are created in the files in Video Builder of 5.1 is your technology has advanced beyond the capabilities of my laptop. I am rather out of luck in using 5.1 version if this is the case.

  3. Go to the final step/compilation page of DVD Builder ... just as you would as if burnig a DVD Disc. Burnig Iso Image only burns to DVD Disc.

Select Create ISO Image in the checkbox options and then select your folder destination.

    Options Avail:

    Create Mpeg2 Files

    Create DVD Folder

    Create ISO Image

    Burn DVD Disc

    Thanks a million,

    Sean

  4. Shouldn't this thread be under "How to create videos"? It is only within the last week that we have been enjoined to keep things under their proper headings. You may find your answers there. Good luck.

    Limey,

You were right I was using version 10 and that was the problem. 11A works perfectly. Thanks for the response.

    Ron,

Sorry I was in a bit of a panic. Just clicked on the "PicturesToExe" and posted. Didn't realise there was a "How to create videos" heading.

I think it would be clearer if the heading just said "VideoBuilder". My point being, my problem wasn't not being able to creating video but, there was a problem with the program VideoBuilder itself which is part of PicturesToExe. I will post in the right place next time.

  5. I have a pte file approx 7 minutes long. When I burn to DVD I get the first few images staying on the screen for much longer than they should then the screen goes blank. The music plays fine.

The first 4 slides take over a minute to play (the pte file show end of slide 4 at 18 seconds). It then jumps to slide 12!!

All slides have been resized to 1024 x 768 max.

    Anyone else have this problem?

  6. Sean,

    We've refunded your mistaken order.

I just sent you VideoBuilder registration key

Please place your order for "Upgrade to Deluxe".

p.s. we correct registration URL in next beta 11 to fix such problem in future.

Placed an order for "Upgrade to Deluxe" this time. Unfortunately the reg.key I received doesn't work.

This is what was in the reg.txt

    <html><head><title>Server Application Error</title></head>

<body><h1>Server Application Error</h1>The server has encountered an error while loading an application during the processing of your request. Please refer to the event log for more detail information. Please contact the server administrator for assistance.</body></html>

I've sent a email to support@wnsoft.com and would rather this was sorted out via email than a public forum.

I have NOT received a VideoBuilder sent by you as described above.

  7. On April 27th last I followed a link from PicturesToExe to 'upgrade the PicturesToExe deluxe version'. I assumed that this was upgrade only (as did others here). I now realise I should selected the dropdown as I ended up purchacing what I already had. The key I received is an exact duplicate of my old reg.txt

I have contacted RegNow (DigitalRiver) and emailed support@wnsoft.com direct.

Digital river have cc'ed me a email they sent to wnsoft requesting a refund of my order so I get order the upgrade properly, however, I have not recieved any reply from wnsoft.

I know they are busy but I would have thought they could, at least, have the courtesy of a reply.

PicturesToExe is a great product but the support is crap (at least it is for me)
