  1. Hi All,

I have use 4.8 for a long time and now have started to use 5.1.

I use P2E to make manual slide shows so that I can talk to the audience and then advance the slide when I'm ready. I only use Fade as a transition, in v4.8 the slides faded ok to next slide, and also ok if I went to previous slide. Now with v5.1 the fade to next slide is ok, but if I go to previous slide I only get an instant change.

    Can anyone help please.

  2. Thanks Ken and Roger for the kind words,

Roger, I have done the show with fewer transition types, but when I showed them both at our camera club they all prefered the multi transition one?

I think I agree with you though - simple is best :D

  3. Nice show Barry,

However, the mouse arrow does not hide during show ;) , then I though there must be a need for it to be visable, yes there it is right at the end a button to a link, "Take me to .....", but the link is not working.

Thought you'd like to know to be able to correct it?

  4. jwebre,

Don't knock the support for this program, they are very helpful and like others have told you they will respond.

Where else can you get a superb presentation product like pictures2exe, where the development team actually ask the customers what they want to see in the next version? You wouldn't get that service from M$. ;)

  5. Hi Granot,

I really like your utility Multishow, many thanks for your work.

A suggestion though, since some CD drives are a bit slow at loading the exe files would it be possible to have ablank or logo screen exhibited whilst the next show loads?

This would look so much better than reverting to the window desk top.

  6. Hi Pete,

If it's any help to you:

I resize the image to 1000x667 pixels in photoshop elements, then save as jpg quality 6, this seems a good compromise between file size and image quality.

I arrived at quality 6 by taking the same image and saving it at all the jpg compressions available i.e. 12 through 1, 12 being the best and of course highest file size. I projected these in sequence starting with the lowest resolution until I got to the point where there was now increase in visable quality, that was jpg 6.

Hope that gives you some ideas.

  7. Hi Larry T,

I just downloaded a new version of TMPGEnc and all is well!! :D

I've use Nero to burn the MPEG2 and it look pretty good, not as good as the monitor view of P2E, but as they say " that's television ".

    Thanks

    Alan
