I have tried twice to upload to Slideshowclub but when I click to upload the page reverts to the terms and conditions which I have read and agreed to. At this point I gave up.

This is a show set to Russell Watson's song 'Homeground'. It was made for a camera club AV group topic to interpret a song. It lasts about 6 minutes 30 secs
and the file size is 54mb. All of the montages were created in CS6, Topaz and OnOne.http://www.mediafire.com/download/csm558y429y2h4o/Homeground.exe

Hello Roger,
I really enjoyed the show. The music was excellent as was the photography. The AV as a whole gave you a sense of being there. Well done!!
Ray.

Well done Ray you have cracked it. The sound is now is very good.
Now a really great AV. As you have demonstrated when the overall
sound is too low, Normalizing will increase the volume.
Regards, Roger.
Hi Roger,
Many thanks for your advice.
Best wishes,
Ray

Hi Ray - Happy New Year to you.
Great photography, choice of music, dissolves and script. What it needs is the music
to be much louder and the volume of your VO increased even more. May be interesting to
use Normalize in the audio software to see what happens. Anyway very much enjoyed
the sequence.
Regards, Roger.
Hi Roger,
I tried normalize and have increased the music volume. What do you think?
Happy New Year,
Ray

Thank you Robert and Happy New Year.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for your thoughts. I will see what it sounds like when I play it in a larger venue. I like the sound as it stands but i'm always open to other opinions.
Happy New Year,
Ray

The poem was written and read by me. The music is Bilitis- Generique sung by Sarah Brightman.

For some I have been wanting to make an A/V to a song, and I have finally got round to it. It is a mix of my own images and some from the Internet.

Excellent AV. You have createdsomething different, good quality and you have captured an atmospherewith the mix of poem and music. One to be proud of I think?
The music was very nice and I waslooking forward to a credit to it. Can you say who/what it is
Many thanks. It was Hayley Westenra singing Quanta Qualia.

I've just downloaded it, watched it & loved it, a definate keeper. The music in particular, I've used it myself. I would like a little explanation of your IR technique. /> /> /> Please.
Regards Eric
Yachtsman1.
Thanks Eric. The pictures were taken on an infrared coverted SLR and Canon G10 and then converted to mono in Photoshop.

Bert
I have just clicked on the link and successfully downloaded the AV. Also 16 others have viewed, so I don't understand why you can't view the show.
Sorry you are having problems.

Hi Ray
Loved the pictures & music, however, I have the same problem with your VO as another show earlier this week. I just couldn't hear your words. The music at the beginning was low so I turned up the volume, towards the end the volume of the music was too loud & I had to turn it down. If it was mine I would try a re-record of the VO with different recording gear, or if time doesn't permit, ditch the VO & add the words to the screen as the images change. Just my opinion, I do however have tinnitus in both ears & the right ear has only 1/2 the definition of the left. Old age has crept. />
Yachtsman1.
Thanks for your comments. I have played the AV to a few of my friends and they did not have a problem with the voice over. I will be showing the AV to my AV group friends o in a large hall next week so that could be the acid test.
Regards,
Ray.

A lesson for the planners, although I don't think they ever listen to those these changes affect. Well done Roger on a wonderful documentation of events.
