Hallo Igor.
I had tested on Win ( 64Bit System which runs in a VMware fusion 6 maschine on a mac mini.
Performance looks good, as well the new desing of PTE 8.

the new Version looks good.
I tried to playback a video. But I can't hear the sound from the video.
It does't doesn't matter, if "mute audio" if enabled or not.
There is on other souindfile added to the project.
Video File is AVI
Res: 640x480 30 Frames
Audio: 64kBit by 8kHz Mono
Fiel came form a Fuji Finepix Camera.

Link was not visible during a costumized Win 7 theme.
Changed back to default theme, then it was visable again.

Some of my studends on a PTE Workshop asked for "Customized Font" settings.
I would like to have the option, to choice one font as a "default font" for a PTE Project.

Hi Brian,
i using Win7 64 Bit on my notebook as well.
After install of Win7 SP1 i tried some of my shows, and most of PTE Functions without any problem.

PTE required a special font during preview.
in PTE AV Studio for Mac (Release Candidate)

While starting the preview. In middle of the show (slides with text input) the preview stop an PTE required to install a "STn..." Font (sorry I didn't wrote down the Font name.)
This came every time when I started the preview, until I except to install the font.
While creating the Windows Exe show on these specific time the font was changed to a Cyrillic Font, which was not used in my Project. The same show as MP4 was fine.
A text search in the PTE file, shows only the original used Font ARIAL.
I can't reproduce these error again.
I used Beta 15
The error was on Slide 15 in the show.
