I have been pleasantly surprised with what can be done with animated GIFS converted from AVI, although they tend to add lots of MegaBytes to a show. You have tempted me to learn how to put video on to a PTE presentation and I have been experimenting with an .avi to gif converter in trial format but the Help files are useless. I was unable to find a free AVI to GIF converter that was satisfactory, so I bought Video UserPic from http://visifly.com/Video_UserPic/It costs $29.95 which translates to a reasonable amount in sterling.
