Windows 7 blocking my registration

Recommended Posts

I have just installed P to E 6.5 onto my new computer running Windows 7. When I tried to unzip my registration no from a previous e-mail( Ihave been using P to E for several years), Windows 7 blocks it saying that it is potentially unsafe. Not sure what to do next. I am on a limited trial period unless I can activate the program. Any ideas please. I have emailed support twice with no reply.

Regards

Farleyjim,

You are experiencing normal behavior because most mail programs today enable by default the setting that restricts or blocks potential unsafe attachments. Years ago reg keys were not considered potentially unsafe ... today standards do.

Go to your Mail program and in the Security settings ... disable temporarily the setting that blocks the attachements. Once you retrieve your key attachment ... enable back the setting to restore your security.

See Attachment as example:
