This will be of interest particularly to AV enthusiasts in North America, as it will be the only opportunity to view most of these world-class award-winning AV productions this side of the North Atlantic.Hosted by the Camera Club of Ottawa and the RA Photo Club under the auspices of the Canadian Association for Photographic Art, and supported in planning and preparation by le Club de Photographie Polarisé de l'Outaouais and the Orléans Photo Club, the bilingual Festival will be held in Ottawa, Canada, from 10 to 13 November 2005.You can learn more about the details of this Festival on our N. American web page. Tune in from time to time to this site as well as the official SuperCircuit site mentioned earlier in this thread to learn more about the details of this Festival and the others as planning progresses. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact me or other members of our committee for details. We would love to see all of you in Ottawa this fall! The folks at Gaphe have done a wonderful job of coordinating this competition, so if you can't attend one of the Festivals, at least consider entering an AV sequence into the competition. Nous en sommes a notre 44ème édition. Depuis cette date, des contacts presque quotidiens, ont été établi avec les différentes équipes co-organisatrices et c’est avec grand plaisir que nous avons créé des liens d’amitié avec Al Robinson au Canada, Erhard Hobrecker en Suisse, Juan Carlos Duarte en Argentine, Lorenzo De Francesco en Italie. Il est très gratifiant, pour nous, organisateurs, d’intéresser les photographes à s’initier et à participer à ce type de compétition tout à fait amicale. Le diaporama est une coutume ancienne ici, en Europe, ou plusieurs manifestations annuelles rassemblent nos amis diaporamistes. Sequences created with any self-executing software are acceptable, particularly those made with PTE. You can obtain further information on our Internet site, www.diaporamacircuit.com, but keep in mind that the last date for submissions is 20 August (obviously, we are ready to receive them even earlier). L’arrivée, ces dernières années de logiciels conviviaux tel Pictures to Exe, Proshow, Wings Platinum, Globe FX, Mobjects, La lanterne magique etc…, ont contribué à la réalisation et diffusion de montages audio-visuels numériques. Pour la plupart, les auteurs s’initient au diaporama avec des montages ayant trait à la nature, aux voyages, aux souvenirs familiaux. Mais, le diaporama créatif peut développer d’autres sujet et laisser libre cours à l’imagination humaine. Dans ce sens, les festivals audio-visuel sont une source de découverte. Nous vous rappelons que le DiaporamaCircuit débutera bientôt et les œuvres inscrites seront visualisées dans plusieurs pays. alrobin Posted August 10, 2005 Report Share Posted August 10, 2005 Just a reminder for anyone preparing a show for the SuperCircuit that the due date for entries in Hayange, France, is 20 August.For North American entries, that means that they should be in the mail no later than today to get in on the normal postage (approximately $3.65 Canadian). If you wait longer, it will cost you over $35 to send by Priority (Express) mail.Over 60 entries are listed on the SuperCircuit web page, so there is plenty of room for more.
