Mr B Posted January 6, 2008 Report Share Posted January 6, 2008 Hi all, I noticed a topic on using PTE on a Mac and needed some info from you (did not want to hijack the other thread).I am currently the Chairman of the Norwich & District Photographic Society (see here: http://ndps.co.uk/index.htm ) and we are thinking of buying (or leasing) a MacBook to show presentations at our member's evenings.We currently use a member's Laptop PC or Mac as required, usually someone has one with them. It will be much easier to have a dedicated machine with a Committee member to have available.My thoughts were to get a MacBook as we could run Windows via Bootcamp and therefore only have to have the one machine for use. We could eventually use it for Photoshop demos etc (if we can afford extra software packages).Can anyone give me any comments on this idea? Are there any problems I should be aware of etc?
