  1. Yachtsman1: which rig do you prefer? and whos the make on the audio card for the tower? i'm looking to pickone up and looking for suggestions. DavyC: solid upgrade i'm a big fan of the ram and video card. decided on which OS your going to go with?
  2. Hey all thought it would be interesting to see what everyone's got "under the hood" for their video editing computers. Id be interested to see what everyones got! Heres my build: Case: CoolerMaster 430 Elite Motherboard: Sabertooth x79 LGA 2011 RAM: 16GB Kingston HyperX (4x4) CPU: Intel 3820 Video Card: Nvidia GTX 560ti HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm other compnents: 1 blu-ray disk drive, 1 sony 24x dvd drive, custom air cooling, Lacie 319 monitor Primary uses: video editing and creation, photo editing and sound editing: Photoshop & adobe bridge v6, PTE and audacity No problems so far can handle doing all of this at once without any lag or slowing down. I built this system myself
  3. This is true just saying i would love to have direct burning to Blu-ray in PTE to make the whole process easier
  4. I'm not speaking of replacing the dvd feature i'm saying add the blu-ray feature as and additional way to publish (create) the show on disk
  5. I buy Blu-ray movies quite frequently whenever i buy a new movie i buy the blu-ray combo that also contains the dvd and the digital copy. I would be more then willing to pay for the blu-ray addition if it were available as my customers the purchase the disks that i create and they only have blu-ray players. this is now becoming more then 50% of my customer base. this is just a suggestion
  6. My #1 Suggestion would be to make picstoexe compatible with Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray burners. Most of my clients who purchase slideshows from us are now using Blu-Ray format. I mean i can have the program create an .iso file and use imageburn to create the disk but it would be nice and much easier to have the burning feature within the program.
  7. Ok i'll put a suggestion there. As to presentation, We use HD DVD in house but for are customers who purchase the slideshows from us they are starting to more and more to use Blu-Ray
  8. I was just alerted to the fact that picstoexe is not compatible with Blu-Ray or a Blu-Ray burner. I am able to have the program create an .iso file, then use imageburn to create a BD-R disc. Does anyone have a clue through the grape vine when this program will support Blu-Ray? I would put this as the #1 suggestion for improving the program with the increasing popularity of Blu-Ray.
