  1. We have to beam several projects in one session. Most, but not all are PTE. Our own files are PTE-files 16:9, but some are 4:3. Those 4:3 projects need to use the full 4:3 screen. Settings on the beamer are thus thereby defined. When in the same session a 16:9 file is projected, we would like to have it on top of the screen, because in the (rather large) projection room, people back in the hall, always see the heads of people in front. They block parts of the view on the lower part of the screen. No solution therefore when beaming 4:3 projects, but with 16:9 projects it would be better if they where on the upper part of the screen instead of in the middle, so everybody can see the full project. Solution therefore goes probably in the direction of making our projects always 4:3 but with a black bar in the lower 1/4 of the screen. Can we manage this in an easy way by the project settings or otherwise?
  2. Hello, I'm new on this forum and I have this question: We have (in our club) a beamer and a 4:3 projection screen. When we beam a 16:9 PTE project, then on screen it takes the full width and only part of the height, but its position is in the vertical middle of the screen, wich is all very logic. We would like to have the PTE-projection on the top of our screen instead of in the vertical middle (leaving the 1/4 lower part of the screen black) . No question of repositioning the beamer or changing his angle or such kind of solution, because in the same session we also need the full 4:3 screen for other projections. Is there a solution to this problem e.g. by using the right settings in "project settings" ? I hope someone has experience to help us. Thanks already.
