  1. Hi Al and Merlin, Thanks to both of you for replying. I will keep PTExe and PS7 programs on the original 60 Gb HD and pictures,PTExe shows, on a new 160 Mb HD. Al, I eventually worked out how to open Adjustor with Excel 97 and XP home, using the manual method. Now all I have to do is learn how to use it!!!! Rodger.
  2. I wish to increase the memory of my present system,by adding another 512 Mb of RAM. Present System. AMD 1800 512 Mb RAM 60 Gb HD (37 Mb free space) XP Home Would it be beneficial to add another HD and use it only for PS 7, PTExe. and all digital photo files? (I am waiting for the delivery of a D70) Would I be able to access 1Gb of memory on the new HD or would it only have 512Mb? Rodger.
  3. Al, Thanks for you reply.I am running XP Home. It has to be something with my Excel setup. I think I will put it in the too-hard basket. Rodger.
  4. I am trying to open Al's PTE Adjustor. I have to open it in 2 stages: 1 Open it without enabling the macros to open Excel. 2 Then open the macros.(This is to avoid an error message the I have 2 files open in Excel) I am using Excel 97 and in the box: "Enter directory for thumbnail pgm:" I enter the path to the folder that contains my .exe and .pte files and receive the standard error message: "Microsoft Excel has encountered a problem............ May I have suggestions on how to overcome this problem? Rodger.
  5. Al, Many thanks. Now I know what the Navigator does!!!(I hope) Rodger.
  6. Roger, My resolution is 1280x 1024 but when I set these dimensions in the dialogue box it doesn't cover the screen when I open PS. Rodger.
  7. I am trying to create a background for a slide ,that I can use as a layer in PS7.( Similar to the one George DeCamp created for his Kenya show) When I open a new file how do I set the pixel size to cover the screen? I have tried Custom--Preset Sizes But these do not cover the screen. Rodger.
  8. Clive, Thanks for your reply.I am eager to get started, Rodger
  9. I have just purchased PTE,but am unable to register it. I have received an email with billing details and another with "How to register" Should I receive a numerical key that I am required to enter?
