  1. Good Morning Barry, you created a video tutorial showing how to create the opening of a book and turn the pages, you later updated the labeling to make things clearer for the user, the file i sent you is the updated version, last night I found your excellent series creating a 3D Book with PicturetoExe so in a way it is Problem Solved. it would have been nice to use and learn from the style you gave with the video, but I will manage with the goldmine I discovered last night. A Massive thank you is in order, the 3D Book has all the info I hope I will need for my project, Thank You for your time and trouble. Regards Trevor
  2. Hi Barry, so good of you to reply in person, in no way was this a criticism of you, your website, or your undoubted talent, l it had a .pteeff tag i don't know if that is relevant, I will attach the style to this message, I am trying to build my own version of a photo album, I know its been don't many times and undoubtedly better that I can produce (at the moment 8-) want to build it to teach myself the technique, Thank you Barry, your video's have been a great help, I especially like what you did in Photoshop for Text effects. Page With Labels.pteeff
  3. Hi, I have managed to get a copy of the above named video, the download does not work on Barry Beckhams site, but I would like to get and studt the style he offers, I did have a copy but that wouldn't load into PTE AV Studio 11 Pro it didn't have the .ptestyle tag, any help locating this style would be most helpful and greatly appreciated. regards Trevor
  4. Hi Davegee, Barry Beckham does something similar which ended with an X effect, your approach i think I like a lot more, I now need to start learning how you did it, as you can tell I'm new to PTE AV Studio, I was much more effective with after effects and encore two programs I really enjoyed but sadly no longer have access to. Thanks for setting me on the right path. now I just have to knuckle down and do the studying. With many thanks Regards Trevor
  5. Thank you so much, that is the effect I was going for, already working on the how the mechanic's work, sometimes the logic just wont show itself to me, either that or the grey matter is solidifying........... Thanks again davegee
  6. Thanks Dave. I'm tying to emulate Bad Dancers "Elegant slideshow" where he has strips (masks ) that move to reveal parts of a photo, it's a good effect, will keep trying many thanks Trevor ( Stockport ) not that far from you
  7. Hi can/will anyone point me at a tutorial on using masks, I'm trying to remove a horizontal mask on one photo to reveal the second photo underneath, I just don't seem to get to work correctly hence the request for a PDF tutorial, I prefer a PDF because at my age it is easier to learn from the written word. Thanks Regards Trevor

  12. Question 1: Is it possible to remove the fade in and fade out from a slide so it has no transitions at all? Question 2: can the rotation point be moved, I want to rotate a slide from the Right hand edge as a page in a book would, I just can't work out how it can be done? Thanks for any and ALL help, Regards Trevor
  13. I apparently sent my thank you not to the wrong person, so, thank you very much for your help, these modifiers can be a bit of a .......... I am learning somethin new each time I run PTE AV Studio, but its going to be a long haul, Thanks once again Regards Trevor
  14. Hi Digartal, after an hour or so i figured out that was exactly what I had done, DUH, in the transition selection area there is a transition named page it opens the picture from right to left, is it possible to create a complimentary transition closing the picture from left to right? i only asking if it can be done, if it can be, guess what my next task will be. regards Trevor
  15. Hi SeismicGuy, Thank you so much, it works perfectly, although I don't truly understand how it works, and I am still none the wiser why it didn't work before, but I have it working now. The download and installation worked perfectly. I was much more used to using After Effects and could have done this in no time, sadly I no longer have access to that program, so once again Thank you, you are now at the top of my Christmas Card List. regards Trevor
