I must have playing truant the day this was taught, I want a shape to follow a curve on screen its that simple but can i do it??????? Bad Dancer and many other PTE'ers seem to do it with an ease that I feel quite embarrassed because I can't . Thanks for any help or advice. Regards Trevor

Hi this is very near what i am aiming for, I managed to create a picture of my target in Google Gemini which is attached, this all for my three great grand daughters who are all Harry Potter fans. I have to say your help has been above and beyond, I now have a fighting chance of making the slide show they are looking forward to. The column will rotate around its central axis whilst gradually appearing ( if all goes well ), once again thank you for setting me out on the right path. Regards Trevor

Thank you so much for the advice, as soon as I finish this session I will go fix my style, as regards the second part, I have a book that floats down into place, No text on the front cover, I am trying to create a bunch of sparkles to suggest "magic" happening and text would fade up that can be read, I am beginning to think this is to big a job for meat this time, I have seen similar effects for example vbl2007 July 2023 smartphone styles part 2 is heading in the right direction, I really need a starting point to determine if this is at all possible, Thank you Jienense you have been very helpful Regards Trevor

I have made a style with the effect I want, Problem is if I try to use this style on another (different) image it still uses the image i created the style with, It is obviously my error, I just can not fathom how to fix it. Secondly I would like to create a style to create a small cloud of sparkles, so far I have only come up with using a separate layer for each individual sparkle, which at this time is beyond my skill level, ant advice would be welcome Thanks regards Trevor

Good Morning Barry,you created a video tutorial showing how to create the opening of a book and turn the pages, you later updated the labeling to make things clearer for the user, the file i sent you is the updated version, last night I found your excellent series creating a 3D Book with PicturetoExe so in a way it is Problem Solved. it would have been nice to use and learn from the style you gave with the video, but I will manage with the goldmine I discovered last night. Hi, I have managed to get a copy of the above named video, the download does not work on Barry Beckhams site, but I would like to get and studt the style he offers, I did have a copy but that wouldn't load into PTE AV Studio 11 Pro it didn't have the .ptestyle tag, any help locating this style would be most helpful and greatly appreciated. regards Trevor

Hi Davegee, Barry Beckham does something similar which ended with an X effect, your approach i think I like a lot more, I now need to start learning how you did it, as you can tell I'm new to PTE AV Studio, I was much more effective with after effects and encore two programs I really enjoyed but sadly no longer have access to. Thanks Dave. I'm tying to emulate Bad Dancers "Elegant slideshow" where he has strips (masks ) that move to reveal parts of a photo, it's a good effect, will keep trying many thanks Trevor ( Stockport ) not that far from you

Hi can/will anyone point me at a tutorial on using masks, I'm trying to remove a horizontal mask on one photo to reveal the second photo underneath, I just don't seem to get to work correctly hence the request for a PDF tutorial, I prefer a PDF because at my age it is easier to learn from the written word.
