  3. Lin you can do that now if you enable the nav bar- permit control of show just tried it on a synced show and the pause /break key stops the show+the sound i always enable nav bar and mouse -- dont believe in taking control away from system owner but i had never tried the pause/break key -- thx for mentioning it ken
  4. Dave additonal info for you http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/default.asp...&virus_k=130610 see http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3873 as to what Ron first noticed also the banner at top of page did not say wnsoft forum it said microsoft update or words to that effect one acquaintance that had mcafee running in the background had popup messages everytime he visted the wnsoft site -- he would run a full scan of the system remove trojan, revisit site and alarms again. thus Igor took site down asap to get things resolved my systems showed no trojan - guess the Romans didn't get to me:)) ken

  7. that is why i included his email sam is one of the original members so i see no reason why he shouldn't -- if you do a search on the forum for new show, My walk: dream and reality Posted: Sep 26 2005, 06:14 PM or try to find on his site http://www.samwhuel.com/index.html mapromenade.zip the show is an example of his fine work ken
  8. bj see Sam "cici" Huel's entry http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....st=entry24641 he does kind of bw sabatier effect on his main page http://www.samwhuel.com/ and then bug him how he does his page samwhuel@hotmail.com ken
  9. John i would work backward from igor's entry http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....st=entry23731 or try his settings and then diddle them you do not see many entries/solutions on the subject so i imagine it takes a heck of a lot of diddling and i would imagine the power of you system has something to do with it as well ken
  10. for some background and along the same line of panorama's see http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....t=ST&f=2&t=3749 http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....=20entry23726 http://www.russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html you can study up on those sites then you will have an idea what you are going to do with ver 5 ken
  11. that feature will be in ver 5 ken
  12. well somebody has to help out the "COLONISTS" suppose you will be selling DVD's outside the big bldgs to pay for that laptop:) ken
  13. what's the word did you ever get the key????? ken
  14. Fred to help you - had me scratchin as well:) the proper abbreviation is TMPGEnc http://www.tmpgenc.net/e_main.html free version http://www.free-codecs.com/download/TMPGEnc.htm if you search back to when we started vcd/svcd/dvd burning there were a lot of discussion on it's merits ken
  15. Al let it all play and then copy it out of your temp int folder, paste to a different location then you will need a flv player but is a small footprint program http://www.rivavx.de/ and then you watch Lin's masterpiece at your leisure runs smooth as a ba - i mean smooth as silk on your system rather than off the web Ken
  16. AL are you using a full suite or a bundle version of nero the full suite has vision express+a whole lot of other features 'Hawk says he will give his comments when he gets the words right:) why didn't you shout sooner geez i have benn making multiple shows on the dvd burner since a year ago last july when the new box was built and now Hawk has figgered out a different way to do them as Bob says each one has its own terminolgy -- very frustrating ken
  17. Maureen it works fine my we are getting creative next thing we will be running p2e shows right from here ken
  18. have a go here Ron http://www.scantips.com/basics1f.html http://www.scantips.com/ ken
  19. early bird gets the worm -- i got it at 03:01 am -- 49.99 mb but locked now 07:14 am ken
  20. i used the nav bar as an example -- nav bar is a button buttons created within the show proper are lost when you dvd the show make separate shows open each -- create avi for each open as many as you want do not click finish on any shows until the burn is complete see what i told Michelle here c/w picts http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3876 import them into your authoring program if you configure the layout of the authoring program properly you will separate buttons to navigate the dvd HAWK might jump in here [ when he gets up] and go a bit deeper -- he has found a move on Nero that enable go back to start - which i think you are looking for -- i have not tried it yet but he is excited -- he has been hunting it for a month ken
  21. if i read this right what you are asking is for example is the nav bar active/seen when a show is burned to dvd no it does not appear on the tv screen or is it active only the buttons/icons that are put in by your dvd authoring program are active - by the dvd player's remote/or set controls is this what you are asking ken
  22. am i ever glad you got it, i couldnt afford to fly to your state -- my expense account flew away with retirement 12+ years ago merry xmas ken
  23. you say I get the avi file successfully burned, but when it plays, it is only the audio and there is no slideshow you do not burn the avi file first you said I imported the file into Roxio DVD Builder 7 and still the same thing. you create the avi and import the resulting file into roxio i am doing the steps as write this and when i created the avi its name is WALMART TEST PUSH R-L_vid629.avi that is the file that i would import to roxio from where i saved it D:\P2E SHOWS - d 1pictures WORKING FOLDER\1_walmart aug 19 05 ken
  24. Michelle is this the screen [make avi .jpg] that you are not touching till the burn is complete and did you preview the show as per the second screen prior to making the avi -- did you have sound at this point ken
  25. the support people have had a alittle problem see http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3874 ken
