  1. Hi Isabel,

When I first purchased PTE in 2004 I received a Reg.txt file this I placed in My Documents since then have also received Vidio Builder Reg.txt file I also placed in My Docements Folder, Since I first joined PTE I have replaced my computer 4 times and recentley a Vista laptop, each change all I have had to do is copy those 2 files to a USB pen drive then copy them to My Documents on the new Computer Then When PTE asks for registration key just direct it to My Documents PTE reg.txt.

I have never had a problem doing it this way.

  2. Hi Isabel,

When I first joined PTE in 2004, I recieved a PTE reg.txt file this I saved in My Documents folder and since Vidio builder have done the same

with the Vidio builder reg.txt file, Since then I have changed coputers 4 times and recentley a new Vista Laptop.

All those times all I have had to do is Copy the 2 Reg txt files to a USB Pen Drive then Transfer the Pen drive to New computer and copy those 2 files to My Documents Then when PTE asks for Location of Reg txt just point it My Documents Reg txt.

I have had no problems ever with doing it this way. I also keep those 2 files saved on Disc for safe keeping.

  3. Hi All,

I would like to know more about "Cale" In English the Translation appears to be "Gauge Block" I have searched the net but this is the closest thing found

    to it:-

Projected random patterns have been used to measure the shape of discontinuous objects. A sequence of independent random patterns are projected onto the object. These images are analyzed by use of the technique called temporal digital speckle photography (DSP) that is introduced here. With temporal DSP the spatial resolution of the shape measurement is improved considerably compared with previously reported results with projected random patterns. A calibration procedure is described that uses a sequence of independent random patterns to calibrate measurement volume. As a result, independent space coordinates for each subimage are obtained. The accuracy is of the order of 1/1000 of the field of view where a subimage size of 8 pixels seems to be a good compromise between reliability and spatial resolution.

Can anyone help in simple terms as old age can be a pest at times like these.

    Thanks.

  5. Hi Newbie,

You can add a 5 second period of silence in front of music File in Audacity if you have it if not it is a free download but you will also have to download Lame as well.

I dont use it but if you go into Google Type in Audacity and it will find it, also I believe there is a tutorial for it.

    All the best Ray

  6. Since I posted this I have been working with WnSoft to diagnose the problem. I just emailed my latest test results to Igor and I am happy to report that we are close to figuring out what the problem is. I would like to ask all forum members to download and run this demo and report any problems on this thread.

    Thanks,

    Ray

Worked just fine for me on my Laptop. RayC

  7. Thanks at least for downloading and replying Patrick,

My grandaughter is not a photographer or does she do slideshows.

She downloaded the pictures from the internet and did everything herself with just a little guidence from me with the slideshow

but she was in full control.

I dont think that was to bad for a very young girl with no experience in this sort of thing.

But thanks at least for watching.

  8. Hi All,

In reply to Marks very fast and many picture show I have on Mediafire just the opposite,My Grandaughter had to set up a Dance routine

for her group in her Dance class at school for the end of year exams.

there was a very short time limit for Music but were possible they could also use a slideshow which would be shown on screen at Parents night

depicting what the dance routine was about, She chose 911.

The Dance and show were taken very well By the parents and friends at the end of year show.

you can find it here, only just over 7MB. http://www.mediafire.com/?3jzyn2z0xh3

  12. Hi Ray,

Great start! Here's the changes I would make (sent you a PM with link). More areas of transparency to get more apparent waterfall. Darken the underlying jpg at areas of intense white burn out but do only on the jpg not on the png overlay. Unzip the zipped sample (I screen captured your original and created a new PNG cover) and compare the png and original to your own to see where you might make changes to get more water falling.

    Best regards,

    Lin

Thanks for that Lin your changes made a lot of difference and can see now what I need to do.

When in dought seek help from the experts we can never stop learning even when old age gets in the way.

    All the best Lin
