  1. I too had this same problem, when I unchecked Interlaced Video option in the PTE video creation process and made a standard AVI file instead of a PTEV file they work every time. Anyone else have a different fix?
  2. Admin1, I too was having recent problems creating DVD's. I was getting the "Failed to reuse converted cache file (4570)" problem as of this past week. I was following the "How to create video" instructions to the "T" including leaving PTE open in the process. I had upgraded my PTE to 4.3, my Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3 and done all the updates as of Oct '04, and whenever I try to use Interlaced from the Video creation button in PTE I get forced into creating a .ptev AVI file and then when I follow the remaining steps I got "coasters" caused by the "Failed to reuse converted cache file error" in MovieFactory. I'd researched here and at Ulead and followed all the steps for resolving the "Failed to reuse converted cache file (4570)" error and would still get the error. When I uncheck Interlaced video (recommended) and then create a standard (.avi) AVI file and it burns to DVD everytime perfectly. I'm using PTE 4.30, Ulead DVD Moviefactory 3, Windows XP Pro, Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 card and have 30 Gigs free on my working drive. Run daily diskclean, scandisk and defrag on my working drive and weekly on my O/S and applications drive. Could these be related? Leslie, have you tried unchecking the Interlaced Video option and creating a standard AVI file before burning to DVD?
