  1. I have been using this version for around 2 weeks now after having varing sucess with an older version. Where can i find full instructions that i can print and refer to concerning my latest version. I am sure i am going a long way round on this but when i want to select a pic i have to go to colum C then into "my Docs then to My pics Then to the folder everytime i want to select a pic why does it make me do this and not just go back to my pics when i want to make another selection. Also can someone explain how to use the Timeline as i have big probs with this and can only get pics to show for equal time etc. Also when i have finished a project and i save it. If for whatever reason a pic is changed in photoshop or is removed from My Pics the project wont play how do i save this Project as a exe file. I have lost quite a few presentations because of this prob of changing pics as obviously when i play the presentation each pic is taken from the hardrive individually. I have seen what a awsome program this can produce so i know it can be done, Also how do i if i want put prescentations on a disc. As i am hoping to enter a competition next year.
  2. Yes basically the picture is in the centre of the screen with a border around it whilst outside the border the remainder of the screen is black or whatever colour is req, and then the picture changes whilst the border remains unchanged throughout
  3. Having done about 20 pte presentations to date, I have seen some with a boarder around the picture which is set in the middle of the screen with the outside of the boarder black etc ...........How do i do I do it?
  4. can somone please exp;ain in plain english how i use the timeline etc i wish to leave slides viewing longer than others also have the shorter ones transition quicker Im sure it is easy but i cant seem to do it. Also my earlier post today of the after effects of moving my folders in "My pictures" it appears i have to save the presentation other than just in PTE, otherwise i will lose it as i lost 36 AVs earlier!!!!!!!!!!! how do i do this give me a saucepan i will cook anything give me a comp and my heads on a gonna!! can e mail me andrew@aroberts36.fsnet.co.uk THANKS ITS BEEN A BAD DAY!!!!!!!!!
  5. I have just rearranged all my folders in "My Pictures" moving various pictures from folder to folder now however many of my AVs ive saved in PTE dont work as its telling it cant find the file etc even thou its only been moved and not deleted. Have i dropped a right clanger?? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U CAN E MAIL ME andrew@aroberts36.fsnet.co.uk THANKS!
  6. Is it possible to for example have a slow fade transition and also instant change transition in the same presentation, also are there any full instructions anywhere on the latest version as im sure im only using half of what it can do. Also how do i put one or a number of my efforts on a DVD disc Sorry for this but im not exactly IT clued up!!
  7. been having aplay after downloading latest version looks like mine should of been updated before the war!! anyway so far managed 2 presentations with pleasing results, however still cant work out how you can view the thumbnails rather than the jpeg numbers and then the thumbnails when selected if u see wat i mean. Sure i will be back soon with a few more dumb questions for all u clued up people

  9. i also want to know how do u view the thumbnails of pics in a folder in PTE rather than just viewing the numbers etc. i am uing version 4.2
  10. Basically im using PS7, and i have seen various presentations where the background remains while other pictures are introduced and removed etc, i have seen a quick demo and basically got lost. It appears that they did it using layers. Am i right in presuming u set up each individual image (both background and other image) as a jpeg, save it then use that. Or is there a easier way. obviously the background takes up the whole screen while the other pics are of varying size and postion etc.
