    hi bobo, thanks for your reply, link seems to be working ok again ,as there has been many more downloads , i am a 60 year old newbe to all this, its good to have members like yourself to look out for me, thanks again

Hi every one ,i have been popping in and out of the forum.I am a member but have never really been part of it .I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction,I once downloaded a little program from the forum called pzr effects But i have lost it due to changing my computor to a laptop .I Welcome any help given THANK YOU

    I've moved your post to this portion of the forum as it relates to Burning DVD's.

    Regarding your problems, can you advise what type of issues you are having when you try to burn a DVD from within Video Builder? This will help someone isolate what the problem is and hopefully get you working so you can just use one program.

    On the Nero side of your question, If I'm not using Video Builder (VB) to create my DVD's, then I typically create an ISO file from VB and then use Nero to burn the actual DVD from the ISO file. This allows me to make multiple copies at a later time if I so desire without having to re-encode everything again from within PTE/VB.

    I am using a DVD- RW DISC , When program complete,s task i get a message telling me , INCOMPATIBLE FORMAT.

    How do i create iso file from VB this is all new to me .I am a keen photographer and know this to be a good way to show my work

Please help someone,I need to know how to burn dvd with Video Builder 5.0,I can get my slideshow to the burning stage, but after that i am having problems.Would i be better burning my slideshow with nero and how can i do this ,i am confused as to what file i should be saving to to burn with nero. i love working with pte and would really like to burn my slideshows all in the one program any help welcome THANK YOU BRIAN :blink:

    You can change the effect duration for all slides in a presentation by clicking on the "project options" button at the bottom of the screen and then selecting the "effect" tab. The duration is set near the bottom of the effect screen. You can do the same thing for a single slide by clicking on "customize slide" then "effect" and setting the duration to what you want, e.g., 8000 for 8 seconds.

    Thank you working find now. so simple when you know how, i will be using forum more ,i love pte i have 3 other slideshow makers but but pte comes out on top everytime thank you again Brian

  7. I AM USING PTE 5 DELUXE, I FIND THAT I CAN,T SET THE EFFECT DURATION THE SAME AS I DID IN PTE4.48, I LIKE A VERY SLOW EFFECT CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS THE EFFECT COMES UP WITH A MESSAGE EFFECT DURATION THE SAME AS SLIDE I LIKE TO SET EFFECT TO 8000
