  1. I'll need to look at some old hard drives to see if I have them. Thanks, Del
  2. Still won't open. I don't know if it has something to do with the problem but I'm using Kaspersky security. Thanks, Del
  3. Thanks Igor, I downloaded the file and extracted it, but get an err message that Windows cannot access... You may not have the appropriate permissions... Thanks, Del
  4. Hello, I have a 30 minute slideshow made with P2E in late 2005. I recently pulled it out to share with someone and it played the slideshow but would not play the sound on my Vista 64 machine. It works fine on both of my XP computers. I assume the problem may be the 64 bit OS. Is there something I can do to make it work on both. Thanks, Del
  5. Hey, Thanks for all the info, it's a great help getting answers from those who know what they're doing. Del
  6. Hello, I'm making a portfolio/slideshow. I have images that are both photos and graphics, there are both landscape and portrait images. I will put my logo and a title on each image and use a black background. I believe I should use 16:9 ratio. I would like to know if I should put all this together in PhotoShop and then place them in P2E and be done, or should I assemble it all in P2E? Also what dimensions should my images be? Thank you, Del
  7. Thanks for all the help. I have another question, but I'll make another post since it's off this topic. Thanks again, Del
  8. Thanks for looking out for me Ken, I downloaded Deluxe 6.0 just a little while ago, and my key worked with it. Maybe I need to close it and reopen just to make sure everything is what I thought it was. Thanks, Del
  9. Thanks thedom and Ken, That's good news! Do I assume correctly that there will be a choice given when I go to render and save? I also checked out your web site thedom, you've created some pretty cool stuff. I would like to try some of them out after I figure out what I'm doing with P2E. I have used P2E a couple of times but it's been quite a while, so I have to figure out what I'm doing once again. Thanks Ken, I tried to delete it myself but guess I was unsuccessful. Thanks again, Del
  10. Hello, I need to make a digital portfolio/slideshow, to show my photos and graphics to potential employers. Both PC and MAC machines are used heavily in this industry, and I would like my portfolio/slideshow to be capable of being viewed on both. Is this possible to do with p2e? Thanks, Del
  11. Hello Fred: I got it to work. The last time I did this (which was quite a while ago) it seems like I had to copy and past the key in, but when you said double-click, I knew what I did wrong. I'm a little embarrassed but thats OK now that it works. Thanks again Fred, Del
  12. I looked on Wnsoft website and didn't see anything listing the features for the new pte DVD authoring. If anyone can tell me or share a link for the DVD burning I would appreciate it. Also will I be able to use this for videos created in other software. Thanks, Del
  13. Hello: I need to switch to another computer and I'm having problems getting pte to accept my license key. I remember I had a problem like this a long time ago but can't remember how I got it to work. If someone can tell me what to do I could use the help. Thanks, Del
  14. Thanks Al, Sorry it's taken so long to get back computers been down. I got the recording and have edited it now to try P2E and see what happens. Thanks again for the help. elijahnow
  15. I would like to make a slide show for a Christmas program. It would last 45 minutes to an hour having slides and narration. I have a CD recorder (through a sound system) available and would like to pre record the narration on it. And then use it in making my slide show. Will this work and has anyone else done something like this. Any suggestions. Thanks,
  16. I asked a very similar question several months’ back, and thought I would ask once again in case someone has come up with a new answer. The last time I used flash instead of P2E but I’m not real happy with the results and would like to see if someone has a better idea. I have an AVI movie that is maybe 3 minutes long and 210 mbs. I would like to make an AutoRun CD of DVD, so that when the disk is put in the player it would start up and run on it’s own Thanks
  17. OK, How do I make an EXE. for my video? I have searched the web and everything I have found that said it could create this was over a hundred dollars. I have never done this before and I seem to be clueless. I guess I need to make an EXE. file and then need a program to make it autorun. Is there any freeware or less expensive programs I could use to do this? Thanks elijahnow
  18. Hello and thanks, I will have to make this short, I have been pretty sick since I wrote the post. I hope in two or three days I’ll be able to set down and figure this all out. We looked again and the file size is much bigger than I remembered, it’s about 400-mb, and the video clip is all we will use. We don’t need to add any text or any thing else to it. We want it to look good for business presentations on TV and computers and to auto run. We used Flash and it looks great on a computer monitor, but it wouldn’t run on a home DVD player. It also takes about 3 minutes for it to load on the computer. Thanks for all the suggestions; maybe it will all come together by the time I can work on it again. elijahnow
  19. Hello I have had PTE for some time now, but it’s been quite a while since I used it last, and only a few times then. But I hope to start using it more often now. Here’s my question, I have a video that my business partner and I made, it’s a 1 ½ minute 100mb (when in AVI format) promotional clip. We wanted it to auto run when put into a computer or a DVD player. We have already used Flash to do this and it works pretty good on a computer, but the way it is now (on CD) it wont run on a home DVD player. If we used PTE to do this can we use either a CD or a DVD and what are the pros and cons? Since it’s such a small file we tried the CD for cost effectiveness. Thanks elijahnow
  20. Hello Can someone tell me if I can use video with pte and how to do it. Thanks elijahnow
  21. Just got back in town and wanted to say thanks to everyone for the info. I took a look at both programs and both look like they would do the job. For budget reasons I'll start with Media Chance MMB and go from there. Thanks again elijahnow
  22. Hello I have been asked to make a learning and testing program for a company. I will be able to use PTE for part of the project but I don’t think for all that I need to do. If not maybe someone could tell me of a program I could use instead. They want an interactive program that would have questions; the answers would be by multiple choices and or fill in the blank. When the correct answer is given the next page with the next question and answer would appear so on and so on. Also, it would have key words that you could click on that would open a page with information on that word or subject. I hope this is clear enough and makes sense. Thanks, elijahnow
  23. Hey everyone Just wanted to say thanks for the info. I travel a lot and have not been able to do much else lately that’s the reason for the very slow reply of thanks. But while I was gone a friend that was working on the project with me found the problem. He said that the music file we added was the problem that when we copied them XP lovingly right protected them and then they would only play on his computer he started over and now it works. I have notice when played from the cd it's not quite as smooth as it should be probably do to running it from the cd and the fairly large image size as you all have explained Thanks again everyone for the info you’re helping my education go a little easier elijahnow
  24. Hello Hope someone can help? I created exe in windows xp and save it to cd, when I try to play it all I get is a white screen. Hope someone can tell me what I might have done wrong. Thanks elijahnow
