  1. Congratulations! I saw your Sequence in The Netherlands last weekend and enjoyed it. Do make sure you send your work to the British Competitions as well! You can always find the details on our AV WORLD site at www.avworld.org Are you going to "The Great Northern" in Wilmslow in November? Peter Coles.
  2. Due to the excellent entry for The International AV Festival in Cirencester 24-26 September (90 entries - 65 of which are digital - 25 anaogue), these is now a need for an extra session on Friday afternoon which will start at 2.30. So, any intending attending this event should try to be there for this first session. For more information abou the Festival visit the Festival site whcih can be reached via www.avworld.org
  3. The last date for receipt of digital entries for the 16th RPS International AV Festival is 14th August. So you have just time to get your PTE entry to Colin Balls, Freshfields, Church Lane, Wrightington, Wigan, UK WN6 9SN. Entry forms and Further details are on the RPS AV Festival site which can also be reached via our site www.avworld.org The more entries received the better the Show in September.
  4. Just a reminder that the closing date for entries for the RPS International AV Festival is 14th August. Digital entries should be sent to Colin Balls, Freshfields, 27 Church Lane, Wrightington, Wigan UK WN6 9SN. I am sure Colin would welcome an entry from you; the more entries received, the better the Show in September. Entry forms and rules etc can be extracted from the RPS site which can also be reached via our site www.avworld.org. I hope to meet some of your there.
  5. I think, Cindy, that some while ago Ron Davies sent you a copy of the magazine I edit - AV WORLD. On the inside front cover you will see a system which is capable of doing what you want. No connecting wires other than the mains lead. You could get more details from CBAV@fish.co.uk. I use a digital Royale regularly for such Shows and indeed one was used to present a Sequence of yours which you sent to the Geoffrey Round International in March and subsequently at the gala event in Harrogate.
  6. The programme for the IAC Geoffrey Round Digital AV Competition is now on the AV WORLD web site at www.avworld.org There are now 86 entries about half of them come from authors from outside the UK. Any wishing to come to this event on 26th 27th March in Haworth, Yorshire should contact Peter Coles on Peter@3-c.coop Tickets for all four sessions - £10 Friday 2.00pm & 7.00pm & Saturday 10.00am & 2.00pm Tickets for one session only - £5 Come and see some of the best P2E Sequences in the world. We have entries from eight countries. Compare P2E with Sequences made with other programmes like GlobFX, Stumffl etc. (Three quarters of the entries use P2E!)
  7. During the Friday evening a RPS AV Distinctions Panel will be in the audience; they will assess 3 Licenciateship submissions, 2 Associateship submissions and 1 Fellowship submission.
  8. Yes. There should be tickets left. If you can let me know beforehand I can reserve space even at the last minute. peter@3-c.coop. --------- Final numbers 84 Sequences entered. All will be shown.
  9. To Contaxman: Yes, I hope so; the space is small with a probable maximum of about 90. However, from comments so far, I do not expect as many in the audience as on the list of competitors! The main purpose of the event is to select about 15 of these to show to a bigger IAC audience in Harrogate in April. If you are likely to be able to attend, know there actually are some superb Sequences and please let me know of that possiblity; then we will try to ensure that you can get in. PTE users are definitely preferred! £10 for all four sessions (82 Sequences) - £5 for single sessions about 20 Sequences. --- Please note that Haworth is a place in which you could make your next epic!
  10. There are now 82 entries for the IAC Geoffrey Round International Digital AV Competition, 36 of which have authors from ourside the UK. I have recieved far more than I expected and so we are now having to start the event at 2.00pm on Friday 26th. Cindy's sequence from the USA arrived in the programme via e-mail; it only took 2 minutes to receive her 6+minute Sequence! -- Any wanting tickets should contact me on peter@3-c.coop; it's £10 for all four sessions or £5 for each session for those who have not entered a Sequence. Entrants get in free to all sessions. For more details and information about accommodation vist our web site www.avworld.org
  11. To Cindy (or is it Dusty?) We would love to have an entry from you. Currently we have 79 entries but none from the USA. $15 for the first Sequence $5 for the second. --- Your could send your entry via e-mail if you want as I'm on Broadband ---- peter@3-c.coop --- just put "fee on it's way" -- We'll trust you !!!!!!!!!!!!! After all you are a P2E user!
  12. The latest number of entries for the IAC Geoffrey Round International Digital AV Competition in Haworth, Yorkshire on 26th & 27th March - 74 entries, 35 of which have authors from outside the UK. -- of these 74 entries all but ten of them use P2E. -- By the closing date I expect about 80 Sequences. This must be the largest collection of stand alone Sequences in any competitive evnt so far. ---- Come and see the Show ar Haworth. --- See or web site www.avworld.org
  13. If you continue to experience any difficulty through contact with www.avworld.org and you would like details and a form contact me on peter@3-c.coop or avworld@3-c.coop I will then send these to your e-mail address. Currently Maureen is updating the Geoffrey Round pages but you could gain information through the events pages. The rules are within these in English and French.
  14. For any using Pictures to EXE, please go to www.avworld.org There is an International Competition for Digital AV Sequences to be held in Haworth, Yorkshire, England 26th & 27th March 2004 - Closing date for entries 7th March. It is the IAC Geoffrey Round Digital AV Competition with FIAP Patronage. The rules and entry forms are available on the above site. Last year this event was the first ever International Digital AV Competition patronised by FIAP. There were 54 entries. Most of the entries used Pictures to EXE. So if you have made Sequences of which you are proud, do have a go and see how they match up when judged alongside others.
