Thanks for that link. I had asked them just a couple of days ago, and they told me the release had slipped, "maybe to January".

I use Pinnacle Studio 8 for video (mine cost a whopping $10 after rebates). Be aware that while Studio 8 is great for those for whom it works, many people have problems getting it to work right. Hopefully, Dana is reading this forum, because I had this problem many months ago and got some worthwhile advice from Dana. However, I have a new faster machine now, don't have the jerkiness problem, and don't remember the answer (I think it had something to do with the length of the fade in/fade out as compared to length of time for showing the slide).
