  1. Thanks for the discussion on this topic. If you find the link to the slide show you mentioned, please post it here. I would love to see it and perhaps get some idea of how to do that. I have a point and shoot camera (Panasonic Lumix TZ5) that can take HD videos at 30 frames a second. The clips are quite good and it would be neat to be able to include them in a slide show. Most clips are too short to work as a stand alone video. Dave W
  2. Hi, With the improvments in version 5.6, I was wondering if there would be a way to insert video clips into a slide show. I realze that a player would be needed to display the video. I thought that, perhaps the ability to launch an application at the end of a show might do that, but can't figure out how. A show could end where the clip is wanted and the appropriate application launched, but it would need to have a command line to play the desired video. I don't know of a video player that can do that. Then, after the clip played, the slide show would need to resume. That means that the video player would need to launch the next portion of the slide show at the end of the clip. Does anyone know if something like this can be done? It would certainly be a neat feature in PTE if that were possible. Today's digital cameras can take fairly decent video clips. When I am photographing my grandchildren, I frequently intersperse the snapshots with short videos of the kids activities. I'd like to make a slide show and produce a DVD that includes both the stills and video clips and have it play all as one show. Any ideas? Dave W
  3. Hi, My first post here. I apologize if this has been covered before. I just competed a 20 minute slide show using P2E Deluxe 5.0. It consists of 5 or so sections with synchronized music unique to each section. After making a DVD with Video Builder, it occurred to me that it would be useful to have a menu that allowed the viewer to jump to any particular section without having to sit through the previous sections. So my question is: Is there an easy way to separate my slide show into chapters or independent project files for use in Video Builder. If I copy the slides in a section and paste them into a new project, the music isn't transfered. So, I'd have to add and adjust the music again - work I don't wish to do. I suppose I could use a video editor like Nero Vision and break the show apart that way, but I was hoping that P2E or VB had a function for doing this. Any thought or suggestions. Thanks, Dave W
