A search has not produced an answer to my question yet I'm sure it has been discussed. I would like to have a start page where one can click on 4 different links to start four different mini slides shows within the program. Specifically, I am a wedding photographer producing slide shows for the bridal couple. I would like to have a starting page where my clients can click "ceremony", "formal portraits", "reception" and "view photo album options". I produce wedding slide shows as part of my wedding photography packages in addition to a proof book that I give th bride and groom. I have been researching purchasing a license to put a particular song as background music for the slide shows and I have been having troble finding the right people to pay. I contacted the music company listed on the music CD (in the liner notes) and they say they don't handle that particular song (even though the CD notes say otherwise). I have to do more searching on the internet and if I come up with something I'll let you know. FYI, I spoke to one of the music company reps and he said that license rights are often 8 cnets per CD or a little more depending on where the CD will be marketed, selling, etc etc. The information that they will need for those pursuing this avenue is how many copies are to be distributed, the geographical location (ie, US or worldwide), which song, and how it is going to be used. Well guys, we are having an enormous electrical storm (tropic-like) here in Naples Florida and I'm off to shoot a wedding in 30 minutes so I'll have to check tomorrow morning.

I'm sure I must be missing something simple but I copied my pte folder onto a CD after tranferring the PTE.key file into that folder. I transferred the folder onto my lap top, I clicked the unlock code icon but can't figure out how to actually intall the program. Clicking on the PTE icon comes up with a mesage file access denied. Help! Charlie

I have an old laptop that I wish to use to create and run slide shows but don't have the ability to download PTE. Can anyone suggest how I might do this? I have no problem paying another fee to have it installed on my laptop. I have my original unlock code. Thanks in advance. Charlie

I have tried a desk top at work and my laptop and, although I have no problem hearing the background music on the desk top at home where I create the slide shows, I cannot hear it on the other computers. And yes the slide show runs on the other computers and yes I did check to make sure the volume was up and that speakers were on. Do I have to record the music from CDs onto my computer as an MP3 file? I just used whatever program that Windows defaults to in order to copy the music from a music CD onto my hard drive. It automatically copied a song into My Music and that is the song that I used as background music in my slide show. It plays great on the original computer where the slide show was created. Is there another way that I should be saving the music I want to use in slide shows? Thanks in advance for your help. Charlie
