I just upgraded from V4.20 to the newest V5.1 Deluxe. Everything is so different! I use pics2exe to make photo slide shows. In the previous version, I used 600x450 photo files. The slide show showed the pictures at that resolution and would have black in the space that was left, surrounding the pictures. I used both 600x450 and 450x600 pictures. The slide show would take up the full screen, but the actual photos only took up part of the screen (with black all around). Now that I have upgraded to V5.1, the photos are getting resized to take up the entire screen. I tried it with the "window" option, and then the photos were the right size, but I prefer the full screen with the black background. How do I do this with this new version? I have a client who wants to copy the slide show exe to their hard drive from the cd I made for them. They say their computer will not let it copy. I don't seem to have this trouble on my computer. I tried it on the kids older computer and it won't let it copy either, it will create a short cut that references the cd drive. Anyone know about this? Is there a option I am missing in PTE? If I use photoshop to create my title/text slide, what resolution is best. I started with 72dpi and that was way too choppy. What dpi do you all use for these text slide that you make in photoshop or other programs? Thanks for any help. Michiele

I noticed in a post previously that someone said they were working on adding thumbnails to the slide list. Does anyone know when this might become a reality? I am currently looking to get new slide show software (I have been using Kai's power show for 2 years, but it does not allow me to make a self contained exe). It is either PTE or proshow gold. But, I really need the thumbnails, which proshow has... Thanks. Michiele

Thanks for the answers. So, to have a black screen with a text title on it only, I should make an all black "image" in photoshop. Then either add the text in photoshop or add it in pics2exe? Right? Thanks. Michiele

I feel silly asking this question, but I can't seem to find how to add a blank slide to the slideshow. I want an intro screen (blank with some text). Thanks for any help:) Michiele
