I believe we are able to update free Pictoexe deluxe. I have version 5.5. How do I update? Betsy

What exactly will panning do to slide. I don't seem to be using it correctly. Please give suggestion. Is there a tutorial on panning?

I have 3 errors that come up when I am closing a project... all say can't find background music. Therefore I am not able to create a DVD with music. I can go through each slide and disable Background music, Is there ant way to select all slides and disable backgorund music at one time? Betsy

I want to enhance a few slides with animated pictures. Doesn't Pictoexe have this capability???? Betsy

How can I stop music at a certain slide even when music is not finished?

Peter, The only way I have added music has been via project options...music tab...add sounds I think you have added a piece of music to a specific slide via the Customize Slide...Music tab. Find this slide and remove the music from the tab and, instead, select the slide in the normal slide list and then add the music via the Add Sound icon on the top toolbar. This should solve your problem. The safest way of adding sound files is either via Project Options...Music tab or by Add Sound icon. Avoid adding via the Customize Slide option. regards, Peter

Here again. I have finished my PTE and need to show a preview of it to a committee today. When I try to preview, I am told to uncheck "synchronize music...". When I do the music only plays for the first 4 slides and then stops... How can I get the preview to work with music playing? Betsy

Thanks to all of you who answered my plea yesterday. I downloadsd PTE Project Reporter and was easily able to delete the sound file. I am quite computer literate, but am brand new to PTE. New help needed. I have a PTE with about 150 slides. I want to use Theme from Titanic for the firt 78 slides. Beginning with slide 79, I want to switch over to JT"s Carolina on My Mind. I have both audios, but I can't make the transition. Titanic continues to play throughout even though I have added Carolina. Any suggestions? Betsy

I caanot get rid of one missing audio file. I get a message when closing that a file is missing. I have gone through each slide, chosen music tab, but cannot find it. Is there any easy way to find it so I can delete it. I am almost finished with the show and need to preview it for a group in two days. Betsy
