  1. Hi, Lin, as the other statement says, I cannot find the button you explained. Since I am working with Ver. 5.6 I may be searching in vain. Anyway : the function I am looking for should be a general one, being valid for all slides, not only for one. And it has nothing to do with the Frame element, that you can add. I do not see any added element of this kind.. Regards Reinhard
  2. Dear PTE Experts, according to an advice of a colleague I somehow managed to bring in a border frame line around my slides in PTE, OK ! But when I want to erase this line I cannot find where the option is. Somehow I forgot it, or I have a blackout.. Can anybody tell me the way how I can do and redo it in PTE. I attach a Screenshot of one slideshow where I tested it... Thanks for reply.. Reinhard example PTE Workscreen.doc
  3. Hi, Ken, Yes this is the golden piece. As I said, the time needed for an SD Card of 2 GB was about 90 min. But all Fotos were recoverd perfectly well except 1 or 2 . Regards Reinhard
  4. Thanks to all of you, I could solve the problem, within one night of painfull looking and watching. The rescue scope was not 200 but 351 fotos sucessfully saved. Apparently it was a simple bit confusion in the directory sectors. In case you encounter similar problems. Now my recommendation: First I tried two freewares (CONVAR PC Inspector File Recovery and PC Inspector Smart recovery). Only the latter one managed to filter out 176 JPGs correctly. Then I tried the same with Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery, that you can download simply, but after the recovery you have to pay the price (39 $) if you want to save the files on your disc. I did it and got back 351 JPGs correctly saved. Then I was curious to check the info of the response below and found Z4 Zero Assumption Recovery (Freeware, no cost)- and it did exactly the same and needed even a little less time for the 351 JPGs. It was worth while having this effort. I got back some of my nicest pictures of Scotland including my collected HDR series. Thanks again. Reinhard
  5. Dear Photographers everywhere, I am in a bad situation and write this topic here, because evtl. someone of you experienced the same effect. Last 2 weeks I have been taking pictures with my Panasonic Lumix FZ50, quite a good average camera, that never made any problems. I used a Fuji 2 GB SD Card to store, and all was fine, all fotos visible, but after 200 fotos, tha camera announced a card error and proposed formating. I didnĀ“t do it, of course and used another card, all worked again... The concerned card I tested at home on PC, but also there I got the message "not formated". Can I get and save my fotos somehow evtl. with a specific tool in Windows ? ...despite the format problem ? Thanks for any hint... Reinhard
  6. Hi, together (all good friends apparently) I am overwhelmed by the speed and clarity of the feedback. Thanks very much. For the next steps I have already downloaded and tested the Reporter, and I am already in discussion with Stu. The Sy(P) Software also looks really interesting. I will have a deeper look to it for sure. Having such a community gives me a comfortable feeling. I appreciate that. Best regards and a happy New Year to all of you. Reinhard
  7. Dear Developers, another observation to be improved (if not yet existing... where ??): After I have saved the PTE file of a slideshow I may want to continue working on it on the laptop. I copy the folders to my laptop, but if I do not copy the entire file structure from the root the slides are not identified correctly... Apparently the folder allocations are stored with each slide separately..?? I would appreciate to have a straight forward option to allocate the folder where the slides are actually stored. Thanks Reinhard
  8. Dear Developers, I am a new member of the forum despite my experience of about one year now with PTE. I am still very fascinated but have some proposals. Here is one: Once I have finished a slideshow there is no option to produce a listing of all contents (except the thumbnails of the pictures). I would appreciate to have an option to generate a full list of all sklides together with the major parameters (times, transitions, added music or Text, embedded files of Titles etc....) as well as the Music used in Project Options, etc. etc... Actually I allways generate at least a list of the thumbnails (Screenshots of the overview ) with names, to have a source for regeneration the show once the PTE file is finalized. In case of any hard Disk desaster or any other problem I can at least recover the slideshow rudimentarily from the original pictures (backed up on CD). I am quite sure that all relevant information is available in the system. Can you think about such option for documentation ?. Thanks Reinhard
