  1. I'm not getting the problem any more after updating 2012 around noon today.

    Hello everyone,

    I contacted AVG support today in the morning (our morning actually: +3.00 GMT). I've got AVG anti-virus on my PC too. Now I can run exe slide shows without any problems. Please, update your anti-virus programs and write back if the problem still exists.

  2. In years past, I had hassles with loading a PTE key. Now here we go again . . . .

    I paid $34 on August 11 for an updated Video Builder, since my old key had expired. I received the correct email notice from PTE that told me how to download the program. I was told I had 14 days "before the links expire" (which would be tomorrow, August 25). Another email gave me the registration key. I followed the directions precisely. Here are the directions I was given:

    1. Run VideoBuilder (Start menu -> All programs -> PicturesToExe Deluxe -> VideoBuilder).

    2. The program will ask for the license key. Click "Load a Key" button.

    3. Copy the license key above (including both the KEY BEGIN and the KEY END lines) and paste into the window of VideoBuilder.

    4. Click "Activate" button.

    5. Restart VideoBuilder.

    First of all: There is NO option to "paste" the license key "into the window of VideoBuilder." The only option you are given is to locate a file in which the license key resides.

    When I do that -- identify a file that holds the key -- I receive the immediate rude response: "Invalid or damaged key!"

    What's going on? I'm exasperated, of course, but thank you in advance for correcting this problem, as I know your support has always been very good in the past.

  3. Not solved with me as yet. Folks I too am from the good ole days, when you got a reply in the email and you

    got things up and running quickly. I have been waiting a week or more and still no response. The response I

    get refers to a need for a new key. Like the other two gentlemen, I am old and so far the 'how to's' have not

    been easy to follow since they spoke more of the misadventure they had with trying to get the problem solved.

    My computer crashed, all I can refer back to is a copy on cd, and one or two of my emails that refer to payments

    received. The email is nearly exactly like the one posted above. So how did the one gent get a new key sent?

    I have followed the instructions to send an email requesting one, several times now and with as much proof as I can to show I have a registered copy. How about a simple step by step instruction in how to get your software up and running starting from a V3 copy with the attacked key and when you get that 'ya gotta get a new key' message.

    I was a happy camper user until the computer crash and was probably on v5 or something. I had registered for the Deluxe version and something else in there that I was told to upgrade too. something about making DVD's or sound or what ever. In my case the health is what is slowing down my days, so I won't make it to 96 and probably not even 71, but I sure would like to finish up my projects I am leaving to the kids in my will, which is all I have to leave them.

  4. I've been a little busy this last week & unable to follow up on this item. However, last night I emailed 96 year old Arthur Holt & gave him an update on my activities, I also asked if he had received the new key from PTE that was requested in a support request sent from his computer almost two weeks ago, this was his reply "Hello Eric, PHEW ! ! !

    Yes, I said in my email, please come on Tuesday as arranged. (Even more so after reading yours!)

    Nothing from PTE.

    I know he is 96 years of age, but he is all there with his lemon drops & knows to check his spam, so I would give him the benefit of the doubt that he hasn't received the new key. As there has been no response from PTE themselves on here, I assume it has dropped off the radar. I am seeing him Tuesday next week & hope there has been some response.

  6. I recently purchased PTE Deluxe. When I try to create a DVD in Videobuilder I get a message across the bottom of the screen stating this is a trial version. When I copy and pasted the product key into videobuilder is said it was accepted. I am not sure if I just received the standard version or deluxe. I was charged the $75.00 price. I have submitted two tickets with no response. Can someone help me... I have clients waiting on slideshows.

  7. I purchased Pictoexe 5.1 in 2008 and used it alot. Then my computer crashed, I reloaded it and now the key does not work. I have tried to download it again, as I still have the original email from when I purchased it with the order number and all info. I have submitted a ticket for help over 2 days ago and I have emailed to get a new key, I still have not recieved a response. Any other suggestions? I have an important last min project I need to create.

  8. Can anyone help please, i have just purchased PtE 6.5 delux version, and when i go to burn to DVD via Video Burner, each time it asks for my key, which is acknowledges is OK. But then the DVD slideshow has a disclaimer running across the bottom saying "this is from a trial version". I have loaded and reloaded the programme with the same useless result each time

    Ant idea how to get out of this?

  9. Hi, I downloaded the trial version yesterday, or the day before and started to do an AV. Realised when I tried to add the 11th slide that I had to purchase the full program. This I duly did today and received the confirmation email and a bit later the registration key details. I added the reg key and the box came up saying accepted. Since then, I haven't been able to get in to the full version - only the AV I started yesterday and then get the error message to say that I need to upgrade if I want to add more slides. Is this this to a conflict between the trial version and the main one? Should I uninstall and then start again by downloading the program but using the same key reg no? (I purchased the standard version.) Any help would be gratefully received! Karen

    I have P2E Deluxe 6.5.8 installed. The VideoBuilder key has expiered. I have bought a new Activation VideoBuilder Key. I have installed P2E Deluxe 7.0 beta 4, and installed the VB key into the VideoBuilder. It says that "your license key is successfully loaded." I turn VideoBuilder off and then start it again and it still asks for the registration key. I copy and past the key from "------Key Begin----- to ------Key End------" as the email instruction says. Plus I am logged on as the adminsistrator.

    My order ID was 38UUBPF-7BK2W.

    I am a bit frustrated with this. I don't understand why it doesn't accept the VB key.

    Can you please help me.

    yesterday I purchased the upgrade from standard version to deluxe version. I installed the license key as described in the email. The Videobuilder accepted the license key. As I start the Videobuilder again, the programm asked me for the license key. What did I wrong ?

  14. What is happening with sales?

    I still have not received my software licence keys to activate 10 copies of PicturesToExe Deluxe

    It is now 12 days since I paid $420 AUD through Regnow digitalRiver order ID 38NNMGJ-DH7AD

    I have emailed orders@wnsoft.com and so has Bernadette at Regnow

    I would really like the activation key soon, for a weekly 65+ seniors class at the U3A University Brisbane.

    I also raised support ticket 38BWPM7ZDJ but no progress yet!!!

  19. I had pics2exe on an older computer and recently upgraded and am trying to get all my programs on the new computer. I bought the deluxe version a few months ago and still have all the emails with my key and instructions. I know I have to load my key through the video builder, but the "load a key' screen never pops up to load it. How do I go about loading my key to make both the exe and video builder work?

  21. I purchsed P2E yesterday and was promptly sent the registration key. I am having exactly the same problem Nothofagus had recently - in the "Pictures to Exe Deluxe 6.5" start up box I hit "Load a key". I then paste the key (with top and bottom lines as told in the email it came in) and click "activate".

    A box "thankyou, your licence key is successfully loaded" comes up, P2E then briefly opens, but then after about a second goes back to the original start up box with the option for entering a key or continuing the trial version. The only way I can get P2E open is to continue the trail version - which of course does not let me do everything (and presumably will collapse after 30 days).

    Any quick help would be great!

    I've just sent you a new key with the instructions how to load it. Please try this method and let me know if registration process was successful at this time.

  22. On Friday 17 December, I sent Igor and Wnsoft an email requesting my activation key for my PTE and Video Build.

    I explained to Igor that my whole c drive was formatted and windows 7 32 bit was installed. I had back ups of my c drive

    and my e drive, so still have the original version 5.6 when I purchased in May 2009. However, the company did not back up my emails,

    so lost my copies of emails with the activation keys and order No's. I also had on a disk which I have desperately tried to find, but

    cannot.

    All that I have, as we all know, when I open my PTE, is the 30 day trial. I sent an email from this version to Wnsoft requesting my keys.

    To date I have not heard from them. I have checked my spam mail and junk mail and there is nothing there.

    Please could Wnsoft or Igor assist.
