  1. Hey, Guys... I'm new to this and I'm trying to burn a PTE file to a CD to give people for viewing. I was told by another photographer who uses PTE to add an autorun.inf to the CD to make it open and play as soon as the CD-ROM saw it. How do I do this? Is it just a file with a string of commands like you were discussing? Is there anything specific to my application that I should include? Do I need a shell/what is a shell? Thanks, Len in Houston
  2. Thanks for the replies and support. I have no idea what time zone wnsoft is in, but I'll have to wait to get to my other computer tonight to take the next step. I am already looking forward to using the program, not only because of it's capabilities, but because of the fine folks I've found in this forum. If you're new like me and don't know this yet, just do a Search of the forum on anything and you'll find out what I mean. This includes you guys and gals at Support! You'll be getting my reply tonight when I can get back to my project. Thanks, Len in Houston GO RICE - BEAT STANFORD!
  3. Me Too! The reg.txt is only 224 bytes (a search of previous posts indicates 231 is the magic number) and does not enable the PTE program. If that's not it, my only other guess is that the file sent is for the latest version and I downloaded v3.75 (another photographer told me it worked best for what we are doing). I've deduced from previous posts (last friday's) that the file was sent by an automated server, so the problem is likely in the file being corrupted by the server, the file is only for the latest version, or I'm just too damn STUPID to figure this one out. I've written support@ and igor@, but it's Sunday night and I'm certain I'm the only one with a Crushing Deadline! I guess I'll have to wait this one out .... GO RICE - BEAT STANFORD !!!
