  1. Hi Thanks again for the kind comments. The macros were all taken with a fairly dated Sigma 105 macro on a Canon 60d body. The ant shots were taken with the same but with a 12mm extension tube inserted between lens and body. Hardest part was getting back on my feet after taking the ants.
  2. Hi thanks for the comments, I tend to stick with 4/3 format as that is what my club prefer for competitions and they A/v's are also projected on to a 4/3 screen for presentation. I dont usually regard them as viewable on a tv monitor/screen Regards
  3. Hi All Just posted a new show on Mediafire, link below. Couldn't figure out what to do with all the macro shots I'd acquired over the Summer, then came up with this idea. Hope you enjoy http://www.mediafire.com/download/dv5hyf21hm5dcu3/A+Million+%26+counting.exe Barnston1
  4. Hi Thanks for the kind comments, With regard to equipment I was using a Canon 60d with a secondhand Sigma 105 macro and for the ant shots I inserted a 12mm auto extension tube. I'm afraid tripods and I don't always get along, so these were all hand held, for the ants I was flat on the floor resting my elbows so it was pretty stable but I ditched a lot of shot Regards
  5. Spent ten days on the Greek island of Kefalonia in May this year. A small track at the back of the village had more flowers and butterflies than I've ever seen anywhere in one place. 'Road to Nowhere' was the result The link is below - comments welcome http://www.mediafire.com/download/kxd9184klva06n6/Road_to_Nowhere.exe
  6. Thanks for the kind comments

  8. Hi Thanks for the kind comments, re the colouring, it was the way the ere made in B/W then later the producers would hand colour them, so its as they are, I'm hoping to get a few better images when i visit a postcard fair nxt month Regards Colin M

  10. Hi Ken Thanks again for the kind comments, I think it needs a bit more work yet, but it was an interesting exercise Regards Colin
  11. Thanks for the kind comments I've just loaded another show, this ones a bit different it is about Edwardian Liverpool
  12. Hi all Among my other interests I collect old postcards, some time ago an old lady gave me an album of cards from the Edwardian era featuring Wirral, the Mersey & Liverpool because, "when i die they'll only get thrown out". I thought it would be an interesting exercise to try and make them in to a show. I did at lot more in Photoshop than I usually do, I hope somebody enjoys the results. The download for the show is at http://www.mediafire.com/?cjuut15wqh62cnd
  13. Many Thanks Thought I might have included too many images but thanks again
