    Hello Andrew, Very nice presentation viewed on my new MacPro with the 24 inch new monitor. The Mac executable though didn't fill the monitor and had around 2 centimeters both on the top and bottom not filled. This monitors resolution is 1920x1200 so maybe that is why, but honestly it doesn't matter since it was such a very done presentation. Again I really appreciate you including a Mac version too.     Well I thought I would add some more info to this subject. I too have had many cameras, Early Sony with the fixed Zeiss lens (828 and its replacement) then the Canon 10D ,20D,Olympus E3,30D,50D,5D and now the 5D Mark II . Lin, is correct about focusing. My 20D and first 5D had focusing problems but my current 5D Mark II with the EF24-105 is spot on and the 50D with the 70-200,, IS f/2.8 is most of the times quite sharp. I never owned Nikon but am sure they are great cameras too. From what I have read it seems that Nikon is better built for adverse weather. I have been servicing household appliances for 40 years and the same problem of quality is there too. Bill

    Hello Davy, I appreciate very much you taking the extra time and including a Mac version of your presenation of Wold War I. Late December I switched over my business to Macs and the only thing I miss and miss greatly is my Wnsoft softwre to make slide shows for my customers. Currently I am using Keynote but am waiting with much eagerness on the Mac standalone version of PTE. This currently prevents me from viewing many of the fine presentations here at Wnsoft although I have enjoyed viewing many fine presentations for Mac at Beckham Digital. The content certainly is very moving and reminds us of the price paid for wars in human lives and makes one so thankful for all those who gave so much for us to have our freedom. Your HD version viewed incredibly well on my MacBook Pro 15inch wide screen and the sound was just as good. Thanks again to you, Davy for your fine Presentation of World War I Bill

    Hello dear friends of this forum, I recently changed my business computers over to Mac and I feel like now be severed from this forum which I really enjoyed but I realize I must now wait on a standalone version for Mac. note: just recently had a Memorial service video to make which I build with Mac's Keynote and many thought it was great BUT I could of done much better if I only had my Wysoft software. (Just don't want to install Windows on my Mac Pro.) I want to especially thank Lin Evans since he posts his presentations here both for PC and Mac format so I am hoping others will post both formats too. I am posting this request here since here is where the presentations are posted but if I am in error placing it here I would appreciate some assistance. Thanks so much!! Bill

    Hello Lin! Sounds like things are quite cold out there but looks like we get rain this time in eastern Pa. from that storm. Lin, I ran the Mac version of "Seasons" and just outstanding. All was very smooth except momentarily at the transition, like a hickup, from Fall to Winter. Same place as Jim mentioned about. I am viewing it on my MacPro, current model, and at the highest graphics setting so I was kind of surprised. First I have seen that happen. The water falls, WOW, You are one of the masters in PTE! Kind of curious Lin, was that layer a .png file? Lin, I want to thank you for posting your presentations not only for PC but also for Mac.

    Hello Ken, Thanks! Always great help! So great to be part of this forum. My thoughts: I was wondering if posting it there if it would encourage our PC friends that when building PC presentations now to also build a Mac Executable one too for our Mac friends and then post them like the PC exe ones here for viewing. (Some way they need to be identified before downloading whether they are for PC or Mac) Also sometimes I have my MacBook Pro with me and am not by my PC and would like to view some of the presentations such as one finds at Beckham Digital. Another note:I have been working too with Dimitry at WnSoft and uploaded out recent trip out West where I had some audio problems which I worked around but he emailed me and asked I send both the one I had a problem with and my work-around version. He wants to find the bug. (He sent FTP for uploading) I am just delighted with this software and it is interesting seeing it mature. Thanks again Bill

  18. Audio problem with Mac executable solved.

    Well, it seems I have been the one asking for much help here on this forum and have been graciously helped so much but this time I hope I can perhaps help someone else.

    Here is the problem I had and how I solved it:

    I just built a 30 minute presentation of our recent trip out West and had added 7 individual song tracks in "project options" and then saved it as a PC executable and it worked fine on my pc. Then I made one as a Mac executable and played it on my MacBook Pro and found two of the songs had horrible distortion and the others were fine. All were MP3 files. I removed them several times and re-ran them again through my sound editor only to have the same problem over again. I then removed all the sound tracks and made them into 1 continuous song in my song editor software and then re-installed it in my presentation as "one song" and now it works beautifully. Our trip was to Glacier, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and watching it on our Sony HD tv connected by HDMI from the MacBook Pro is astounding and just couldn't be better and the sound likewise is very dynamic. Igor and all others, thank you for such a great product!

    Hello Lin! Greetings from Quarryville, Pa. I always really appreciate your help and input. Lin, I agree fully with your comment about Proshow which I have been using for several years (Producer) and I always hoped it would improve its output quality. I wrote to them, like many others, hoping for a Mac version but the response tells me too it won't happen. I have seen there and on DP review quite a few Mac folks desiring the same so I can't help but think many of those could be possible clients for WnSoft. I can't over state how satisfied I am with the exe output of PTE both on my PC and Mac. I just finished a job for a good customer of mine and they are wood carvers and have done some work in the White House in DC. They will be running their executable PC presentation on their laptop connected by VGA to a HD tv monitor at a symposium in Virginia latter this week.

    I really appreciate all the work both Igor and all those at Wnsoft have done and the great help from all you folks and the friendliness shown here on this forum.

    As I already mentioned I am ready to go full MAC and infact stopped by the Apple Store last night and looked at the new 27 inch iMac. All I need is a stand alone version of PTE for MAC form my business. Watching the Proshow forum and DP review there seems to be much interest in a Mac version of Proshow but the response from them suggests it won't happen. Before my purchase of PTE for my business I too was using Proshow Producer and I also wrote them about a Mac version. Really hope to hear from Igor how soon that may happen. Bill

    First a bit thank you to Igor and the advancing software and that now I can make MAC executables on my pc. Excellent work. For the previous reply I can mention I am running Snow Leopard version 6.1 on the newest summer 2009 MacBook Pro. I can not only run the presentations I make on my Mac but also all of those posted at Beclham Digital with stunning quality.

    I couldn't agree more about the Wacom graphics pad. I have been using one for around 4 or 5 years and when processing photos or working with graphics in Photoshop it just is so much better and easier. It took me too about 1 week and then it just was natural. Bill

    Hello Tom and Henri! Thanks for the reply. The people at Wnsoft have sure done a great job giving us the now available Mac Executables by the way of a pc!! I sure hope soon though there will be a stand alone Mac version and when that happens my 3 year old PC wil be replaced with a Mac. I am also hoping that we will be able to add video clips too. Thanks again Bill
