  1. It appears that your Youtube login/password is incorrect... at least that's my impression of your post. For my case, I was able to log on but the completed video wasn't uploaded. Warmest regards, -Gnimble
  2. By the way, I downloaded Media info and this is what it shows about the video: General Complete name : C:\Users\Tom\Videos\collection.mp4 Format : MPEG-4 Format profile : Base Media Codec ID : isom File size : 344 MiB Duration : 8mn 57s Overall bit rate : 5 369 Kbps Encoded date : UTC 2010-04-25 07:16:48 Tagged date : UTC 2010-04-25 07:16:48 Video ID : 1 Format : AVC Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec Format profile : High@L4.1 Format settings, CABAC : Yes Format settings, ReFrames : 3 frames Format_Settings_GOP : N=1 Codec ID : avc1 Codec ID/Info : Advanced Video Coding Duration : 8mn 57s Bit rate mode : Variable Bit rate : 5 168 Kbps Maximum bit rate : 18.3 Mbps Width : 1 280 pixels Height : 720 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate mode : Constant Frame rate : 29.970 fps Resolution : 8 bits Colorimetry : 4:2:0 Scan type : Progressive Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.187 Stream size : 331 MiB (96%) Writing library : x264 core 58 Encoding settings : cabac=1 / ref=3 / deblock=1:-1:-1 / analyse=0x3:0x113 / me=umh / subme=5 / brdo=0 / mixed_ref=1 / me_range=16 / chroma_me=1 / trellis=2 / 8x8dct=1 / cqm=0 / deadzone=21,11 / chroma_qp_offset=0 / threads=3 / nr=0 / decimate=1 / mbaff=0 / bframes=3 / b_pyramid=0 / b_adapt=1 / b_bias=0 / direct=3 / wpredb=1 / bime=1 / keyint=250 / keyint_min=25 / scenecut=40(pre) / rc=crf / crf=20.0 / rceq='blurCplx^(1-qComp)' / qcomp=0.50 / qpmin=10 / qpmax=51 / qpstep=4 / vbv_maxrate=40000 / vbv_bufsize=40000 / ip_ratio=1.10 / pb_ratio=1.10 Encoded date : UTC 2010-04-25 06:27:29 Tagged date : UTC 2010-04-25 07:16:56 Audio ID : 2 Format : AAC Format/Info : Advanced Audio Codec Format version : Version 4 Format profile : LC Format settings, SBR : No Codec ID : 40 Duration : 8mn 57s Bit rate mode : Variable Bit rate : 198 Kbps Maximum bit rate : 258 Kbps Channel(s) : 2 channels Channel positions : Front: L R Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz Stream size : 12.7 MiB (4%) Encoded date : UTC 2010-04-25 07:16:52 Tagged date : UTC 2010-04-25 07:16:56
  3. Hello, I'm using Pictures2Exe 6.0 Deluxe and have problems uploading to youtube. I tried creating youtube videos but most of the time, the video is never uploaded. I've checked the log in multiple times and the upload say it is completed, although 0 bytes were transferred. When I create MP4 720p HD videos, I'm able to view it in VLC player but when I uploaded to youtube, youtube often reject the video because it seems to double the time of the video. Ie. If a video is 8 minutes, youtube would show it as 16 minutes; and due to its video limitation of 10 minutes, it rejects any video I have that is longer than 5 minutes. I've tried different quality setting in creating the MP4 video but am not successful at getting youtube to accept the video. Any clues? Thanks! -Gnimble
  4. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone know how to shrink the size of an ISO image a bit so it would fit into a normal DVD+R disk? I tried to create a DVD disc when Pictures2Exe failed the burn, so I created an ISO image on recommendation from Pictures2Exe and downloaded the ImgBurn software. When I tried to burn the ISO image, I get the following error message: There doesn't appear to be enough space on the disc to burn this image. Image size: 2,326,338 Disc size: 2,295,104 The DVD+R disk is a brand new disk. The Video Builder still shows a lot of free space during the pte slideshow selection. The DVD disk will contain a collection of slideshows, in addition to a 60s animated menu. Any ideas? Thanks, -Gnim
  5. Thank you for that suggestion. After I ordered yesterday at around 3am, I waited for the key to arrive. I waited until close to 4:00am and still no key. The email said it would be sent within 24 hours so I went to sleep. 21 hours later, I still haven't seen the email with the key so I started to panic. I had only one more day to create the DVD (both wide screen and normal resolution) before delivery. It just occurred to me to check the spam folder just now. The key was sent less than half an hour after ordering the day before and went immediately into that folder. I'm too exhausted to start the process now. Heading to bed. I hope to get it done before tomorrow ends. Cheers, -Gnim
  6. Hi everyone, Thank you for your replies. I will upgrade to get the newer Video Builder working with my current slide shows. (If you ever need cash, it's great to have your family close by!) I want to deliver the DVD and slide shows to my client before I fly on a one way trip to Chicago this Thursday. I will save the Pictures2Exe 6.0 binary onto an external CD in case I might use it years from now. Cheers, -Gnim
  7. May I ask if the pte files I created with v6.0 will work with the previous version of Pictures2Exe? I'm not using any new features, just the old pan and zoom (just zoom in and out) between slides. My old PC is retired, the reason why I downloaded the latest version. I will search for the previous version online; hopefully someone has it somewhere where I can download. I spent so much time on those slideshows and will start school again next week, so will not have a chance to recreate them. I just need to burn one DVD for my last set of slideshows, otherwise, I can try to borrow some money from my brother to upgrade. If I would continue to create more DVDs in the future, I wouldn't mind getting the upgrade, but seeing this might be the last time I use the software; I want to make sure I can use the older software with the newer pte files. Thanks again, -Gnim
  8. I thought so too, especially when I entered the video builder registration key; the dialog box said it was successfully applied. But when I create videos, I get the message below scrolling across the screen at set intervals. I'm not doing anything special either, just creating the DVD menu and select the PTE projects for the DVD authoring as I did a few times in the past. "This video file created with trial version of WnSoft Video Builder." Thanks, -Gnim
  9. Hi everyone, I was pretty active using Pictures2Exe over two years ago, but work got in the way; so I stopped... including my wedding photography business. Fast forward two years later and I still have one client left who are waiting for their pictures. Because of such a long wait (over 2 years) for their pictures, I've decided to print their albums and create their DVD slideshows for free of charge before exiting the business. Now unemployed and heading back to school; I found out that my Video Builder license expired roughly 5 months ago so I'm not able to use it with Pictures2Exe 6.0. I'm not sure if I can use it with the older version of Pictures2Exe even if I can find an older version somewhere. I would like to upgrade again to version 6.0 but am short on cash to pay the full cost of $35 for Pictures2Exe 6.0 Deluxe (I'm registered for the basic, not not the deluxe). Is there like a $20 upgrade to the latest Video Builder like before? It will probably be only used once to create the wedding slideshow and promptly forgotten as I go into my new field of study. Thanks. Cheers, -Gnim
