  1. I am so sorry and I need to apologize for sounding so irate and using all CAPS to make my point. If I could find it I would ask Igor to delete it. I am not using my ill health as for my actions but just to say I am very sorry. Recently just got out of the hospital for heart attack. It seems that I am following in the foot steps of father and uncle and who know who else down the genetic tree. But fine now and promise to take it easy.

as we speak I am disabling my caps key!!! Ha! just kiding. Well, my humor is back.

Bart, thanks for the code thing but actually I don't know what to do with it. I know how to ftp my pictures etc over to the net and I know where to put the code which would be in the html page of front page2000 (normal, html, preview) but is it a code that I would use for any .avi presentation?

This sort of reminds me when you (the elders of p2e) talked me through making a menu page etc. and that's behind me and I can do that. But it took quite some time to sink in!!

I was going to use the XAT.com web page (web slide show) and I did it and it previewed good but discovered it also was a .exe file and eventually there computers (Geocities.com) would flag it and they could cut me off I suppose.

  2. ;) IGOR MY IDEA FOR A FUTURE ADD ON WOULD BE TO DEVELOPE A WAY TO PUT THE .AVI FILE ON A WEB PAGE TO MAKE A MINI SLIDE SHOW LIKE SOME OF THE OTHER PROGRAMS HAVE.

I REALIZE THAT THE AVI IS TEMP. SO IF THERE WAS A PERMAMENT .AVI FILE THAT WOULD ENABLE ONE TO MAKE A SMALL PRESENTATION ON A SITE THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

  3. <_< Hmmmmm I would have thought by now I would have had one of the experienced members adding some suggestions by now. Perhaps then it is not possible.

All I wanted was the size of the screen from windows media size and just the avi file. Apparently the avi is not illegal with geocities.

I believe I know whay it will not work but do not know how to explain it. Something to do with that temp file thing that when you delete it you can't use it again.

  4. I am using Front Page2000 to build a web page with Yahoo Geocities and I see nothing so far that say .avi files are not allowed. My question is, is it possible to put a avi file on and how would I do it. I understand all about (ftp file transfers) and how to use front page.

  5. Yes, we plan Zoom, Pan and more smooth Push/Slide effect. It's a long work, but it will be added. I also very want to see Pan effect!

    B) Thankyou Igor, for considering the pan and zoom (push effect) later on!!

I understand that this will take some time as it also works with the type of music one uses. If the music is fast pased the pans will work accrodingly and slow music will cause the effects to flow with the slower passed music.

Also, if you would this could be worked into the .avi portion of the program with capturing video etc.

  6. ;) actually Jim, that really is a good idea with the zoom and pan. I operate television cameras at our church and I call them push (zoom) pull (wide angel) and pans from left to right.

I like what Igor has created on he program thus far! However, for myself I am only going to use the "F" feature only the other stuff is just to much.

I think the pans and zoom effect would really look professional and add a great touch to the program.

But perhaps I will grow into the other stuff also.

  7. :o Opps,

I have a correction to make. I just discovered that you can delete a slide from the "F" and this is my mistake sorry.

However I still think that perhaps it is to busy with icons here and over there if you know what I am saying.

LIKE the icons you can have with the slide list. Whay do we need this? If i wanted to move the very first slide to the end I would have to drag all the way to the end and if you have 75 slides that is quite a move. But the "F" version would be easher.

That's just my input though and I suppose I could like it if I worked with that.

  8. :D Igor, impressed with the new light table.

my favorite is the full view "F" of all the pictures at a glance since one can rearrange pictures better that way by drag and drop. If you wanted to delete a picture from the "F" it would be cool to just left click and click delete instead of the usual way. Unless I am missing something.

Have not quite caught on with the other.

I still am waiting for the effect that pushes and pulls and moves to the left and right with fades or cuts. I believe it cordinates with the music. I experienced this with another program and this is surprime!

  9. :D My daughter graduated a week ago and I put this together for her and made a vcd for her to keep as a memory keepsake.

It's not the greatest pictures as they were taken by her friends but the presentation was made from the HEART.

    Hope you like it!!

    Harry

  10. Wanting to add to the above statement.

what I am looking for would be starting with one picture with either a slow zoom in (push) and then the next picture would be a slow pan to the right or left. This would all be done with fades.

All this could be done with the type of music one is using. If the music is fast pased the zoom in and out, the pans could be customized to fit the music in a sort of pre set fashion.

  11. :o I really did not know how bad this spyware problem was until I downloaded"

    spyware search & destroy

After the first search the software found over 100 spyware stuff.

Now when I check it usually finds on the average of 9-17

I also downloaded spyblaster of which it somehow has a list of spyware stuff, like 2917 in its data base that I assume it is protecting me.

But is more then one too much?

What do you think, anyone let me know.

I choose, except for the Surfer II, to work manually every moring. I have found that too much stuff in the task bar will slow the computer.
