  1. this is what's crazy about these large sites I look up Pinnance and Studio version 8 and it looks like it is a different program then ccmanz or (cc) this is the Url: http://www.pinnaclesys.com/ProductPage_n.a...431&Langue_ID=7 perhaps it is an updated version? Harry
  2. In looking at the Pinnacle web site I am not sure what (version 8) some of us are using so could I have the exact name, title so as not to purchase the wrong one. The one I was looking at was $49.95. Harry
  3. I am so sorry and I need to apologize for sounding so irate and using all CAPS to make my point. If I could find it I would ask Igor to delete it. I am not using my ill health as for my actions but just to say I am very sorry. Recently just got out of the hospital for heart attack. It seems that I am following in the foot steps of father and uncle and who know who else down the genetic tree. But fine now and promise to take it easy. as we speak I am disabling my caps key!!! Ha! just kiding. Well, my humor is back. Bart, thanks for the code thing but actually I don't know what to do with it. I know how to ftp my pictures etc over to the net and I know where to put the code which would be in the html page of front page2000 (normal, html, preview) but is it a code that I would use for any .avi presentation? This sort of reminds me when you (the elders of p2e) talked me through making a menu page etc. and that's behind me and I can do that. But it took quite some time to sink in!! I was going to use the XAT.com web page (web slide show) and I did it and it previewed good but discovered it also was a .exe file and eventually there computers (Geocities.com) would flag it and they could cut me off I suppose. Harry
  4. IGOR MY IDEA FOR A FUTURE ADD ON WOULD BE TO DEVELOPE A WAY TO PUT THE .AVI FILE ON A WEB PAGE TO MAKE A MINI SLIDE SHOW LIKE SOME OF THE OTHER PROGRAMS HAVE. I REALIZE THAT THE AVI IS TEMP. SO IF THERE WAS A PERMAMENT .AVI FILE THAT WOULD ENABLE ONE TO MAKE A SMALL PRESENTATION ON A SITE THAT WOULD BE GREAT. HARRY
  5. Thanks Ken, but this brings up an interesting idea. since .exe are not accepted in Yahoo Geocities and there are no listing that I know of for .avi this would be a good idea for Igor to develope this. Harry
  6. Hmmmmm I would have thought by now I would have had one of the experienced members adding some suggestions by now. Perhaps then it is not possible. All I wanted was the size of the screen from windows media size and just the avi file. Apparently the avi is not illegal with geocities. I believe I know whay it will not work but do not know how to explain it. Something to do with that temp file thing that when you delete it you can't use it again. Harry
  7. starting web page with Front Page 2000 and wanted to know if it is possible to put .avi to web page. Harry
  8. I am using Front Page2000 to build a web page with Yahoo Geocities and I see nothing so far that say .avi files are not allowed. My question is, is it possible to put a avi file on and how would I do it. I understand all about (ftp file transfers) and how to use front page. Harry
  9. It is my understanding that for instance in "Yahoo Geocities" they do not allow .exe file formats as per reason of honey catching bees (meaning viruses) I suppose. So "jwebre" must be using another web host that will allow .exe. So, it is possible with a .avi to the web because I don't recall the .avi on the banned list. Harry
  10. Larry, this is Harry, I have been looking at a program called "Ripvinyl" and it does cost but in U. S. currency it is $7.00 and pounds I am not sure. www.ripvinyl.com Harry
  11. WELL I HAVE TO ADMIT!!!!!! WHEN I'M WRONG I'M WRONG. IGOR, I AM ABSOLUTELY AMAZED WITH ALL THE CHANGES YOU AND YOUR CREW HAVE MADE. HARRY
  12. Thankyou Igor, for considering the pan and zoom (push effect) later on!!
  13. actually Jim, that really is a good idea with the zoom and pan. I operate television cameras at our church and I call them push (zoom) pull (wide angel) and pans from left to right. I like what Igor has created on he program thus far! However, for myself I am only going to use the "F" feature only the other stuff is just to much. I think the pans and zoom effect would really look professional and add a great touch to the program. But perhaps I will grow into the other stuff also. Harry
  14. Opps, I have a correction to make. I just discovered that you can delete a slide from the "F" and this is my mistake sorry. However I still think that perhaps it is to busy with icons here and over there if you know what I am saying. LIKE the icons you can have with the slide list. Whay do we need this? If i wanted to move the very first slide to the end I would have to drag all the way to the end and if you have 75 slides that is quite a move. But the "F" version would be easher. That's just my input though and I suppose I could like it if I worked with that. Harry
  15. Igor, impressed with the new light table. my favorite is the full view "F" of all the pictures at a glance since one can rearrange pictures better that way by drag and drop. If you wanted to delete a picture from the "F" it would be cool to just left click and click delete instead of the usual way. Unless I am missing something. Have not quite caught on with the other. I still am waiting for the effect that pushes and pulls and moves to the left and right with fades or cuts. I believe it cordinates with the music. I experienced this with another program and this is surprime! Fitzner
  16. Yes, that is so. I only hope xx years from now she will still be able to play it. Harry
  17. My daughter graduated a week ago and I put this together for her and made a vcd for her to keep as a memory keepsake. It's not the greatest pictures as they were taken by her friends but the presentation was made from the HEART. Hope you like it!! Harry
  18. Wanting to add to the above statement. what I am looking for would be starting with one picture with either a slow zoom in (push) and then the next picture would be a slow pan to the right or left. This would all be done with fades. All this could be done with the type of music one is using. If the music is fast pased the zoom in and out, the pans could be customized to fit the music in a sort of pre set fashion. Harry
  19. I'm loing forward to one day see the most unique effects possiible!! I would like to see the most amazing slow pushes, pulls and pans either way of a single picture to give the elusion of movement in the most professional way. Harry
  20. I really did not know how bad this spyware problem was until I downloaded" spyware search & destroy After the first search the software found over 100 spyware stuff. Now when I check it usually finds on the average of 9-17 I also downloaded spyblaster of which it somehow has a list of spyware stuff, like 2917 in its data base that I assume it is protecting me. But is more then one too much? What do you think, anyone let me know. I choose, except for the Surfer II, to work manually every moring. I have found that too much stuff in the task bar will slow the computer. Harry
  21. Thanks guys I will look into all of them and see what I can afford. Harry
  22. Dont you just hate those pop ups? Does anyone know a good free program that really really works. Harry
  23. Not to sure David how to use the "dropload" program and put it on wnsoft. Perhaps to send the slide program to myself and then cut and paste to winsoft? advise Harry
  24. Yes, David I'll send you mine today!! Ofcourse I will need your email to use the dropload program. harry
  25. David in other words if my program is: grad.exe and I want to email it I simply change it to: grad.pte and email and let the reciepient change it back to .exe? Harry
