Actually, not sure anymore if one can email a presentation like we used to. Mine was only 6 MB and I sent it to four people. It is right now coming back and I will have to call my isp to just take it off on their end as it will take a long time to come through. So can you send a presentatio with the .pte? Is that correct? Can someone take the time to give me instructions on this? I have been out for some health issues but better today. I do read the forum and tried to search but if you are not entering the search criteria right it also will not work. Harry

Don't know if this was suggested buy this is mine. Mr. Igor: could you for a new effect develope a very smooth push in and push out and pan to left and pan to the right. I have seen this already and I must say it is good and adds some illusion of motion to the picure. AND: what about some day capturing video. Harry

opps, let me say that in the previous message I am in no way negating the pte program at all. It will always remain supreme. It just so happens that my regular price for my work at times is hard to obtain and sometimes I use the other and charge much less and I am doing quantity work. I like the template implement because it enables me to select, say, romantic, mucsic video etc. and like magic it is finished for preview and I burn with Roxio 6. Harry

Thought I would use this in my tool box for quickies. You can download a trial and the trial last forever. It does show their logo but it is quick and I use Roxio 6 to burn cd's. It was do video and capture. Harry

As regards DVD writers I have a Philips DVD+ The DVD+ and - were being developed at the time I upgraded fom a CD writer and were going to be very pricey. I don't know what the present situation is. I just checked with a local company that has a " NEC" dvd burned for $150 US Currency and $20 to install does this price seem to be high or ok? Silly, but I don't know how to do quotes on this forum. Harry does this mean you did not import directly from PTE to Roxio6 Builder as I was doing? You guys pehaps are a bit more advanced then me but I took the finished cd Bible class .avi and imported it directly and draged it to the work station. I did not use pte because this was a super vhs to cd. The class was abit over one hour. Now when I have excellent pictures, super and very clear and make a pte presentation and follow Igors directions I do import it to Roxio 6 work station. I did one about a trip to Mexico City and this one was excellent. Have you seen that an upgrade to Easy CD Creator 7 is now available at £49.99 [uK] Are you saying that with the Roxio 6 you can upgrade to a 7 as long as you have the Roxio 6? I am not at the present using dvd. Can anyone say what is good in a dvd burner? I need to educate myself in the different dvd discs. - and + etc. Do they make a burner that used both?

Not having a great result with vcd with pte. The pictures were not sharp and the transition sucked! I did use my digital camera and the pictures look great on the computer pte presentation. I am using Roxio 6 but get much better results with video digital so far. Harry

Can't remember where I made a comment about Roxio 6 the last time but I, as some know work at our Church video taping Bible classes and capture using an 1995 old Pinnacle program and edid with Premiere 5.0. I extract the sound also to made a audio only cd (Redbook) for cd players in autos and cd player (portables) in the home. I used the file from the video cd and brought it to the work station of the Roxio 6 and WOW!! suck quality I can't believe. It looks wonderful on tv!! Now about the menu!! I guess we will have to live with it but actually it really is not that bad. You can change the background and text and even add your own narration or music. That clip that counts backwards you can trash it if you do not want to use it. You can even if you want to use it stop it just before it gets to the title which say "Roxio" and delete it at that point to the right or end of the clip. However they could have made it so that you could do this and replace Roxio with your title name. Anyone that wants to email me about Roxio that I can help with or perhaps you can help me lets email but it really would be better to keep this on the forum to benefit all the forum members. ok, when I make a vcd pte presentation I first drag the intro think down to the trash bin and drag my presentation where the intro is. then burn the cd. when I play the presentation in dvd player my presentation starts up right away. I am using a sony dvd and I might add an old one. My expeience with the menu I could never get the menu to work. Harry

For a couple of years now I have been capturing with a very old, apparently, Pinnacle program and then edit with Premier 5.0 old also. The end result would be a screen size the dimensions of windows media player. You could increase the size but would be rather pixeled some. But our students had to view the classes in there home computers and that was the idea. That was fine for us. My brother gave me the Roxio 6 program and I made a vcd with some of the classes and played it at home on the dvd for tv. I was amazed at the quality. Not of course as good as the computer but not pixled for the tv. We are excited about this and are going to experement more. Do most of the dvd players today play both vcd and svcd? I have a old dvd sony and this unit will not play svcd. I also did one of my pte presentation for vcd and watched it on hdtv big screen and it blew me away. I have been using Nero V5 only for vcd. V5 will not do svcd unless you upgrade to Nero 6. Apparently you can't buy just the codec for svcd. So when I got the Roxio 6 it had it all. I don't know at this writing if you can edit with Roxio 6 but only add clips that are pre edited with Premier. Anyone know about this? Harry

A friend of mine on another forum is having a problem with a client. The music file is about 6o min. Probably several songs and alot of pictures. Can P2E handle several songs totaling close to a hour? I told him to transfer from wav to mp3. He said on this particular forum "If only we could lay down the music trac first and then put the pictures on. I know of course we "P2E can do this" But out of respect for this forum I didn't want to mention "P2E" I am awaiting his email to me personally to give him "wnsoft.com" He should probably do a DVD burn with our new beta version. Ok, It worked fine this time and thank you again Hawk!!!!!!!!! I was amused I thought it was fine. I assume a person putting the cd into the computer from the desk top the presentation would just fade into the show. I tried it with a black screen as my first slide the second time and to me that was more effective but too much what I do anyway. I liked the fade into the picture which was very effective. I will work with it some more. Harry

Hawk, thank you for the directions I must have something wrong with my computer. I followed your directions, easy to do, but I got this error message: Exception EAccess Violation in module Winmm.dll etc. etc. tried it two times same message. I will try after I rebot. Harry

Ok I finally did it and was not impressed. I would rather the old way building index page with little pictures. That way you can choose and deside to stop and continue with another. But finally did it and thanks for the assistance. Try asking questions on any other forum and you would wait for ever 1 Harry

I still don't get this first slide deal. When I use it with a push slide as my entry slide my screen of the program show first as it is pushed up. Now if I go the regular way you just get the push only. So I know I must be doing something wrong because so many are excited about it. If anyone wants to comment please do so. I really like the slide effect and the push effects. Harry

At work I use Premier 5.0 to edit captured video and I want to use transitions. I can't seem to preview transitions to see how they are going to look. I tried the Help button but nothing I could see for preview. Has anyone used Premier and wold know how do do this? Harry

I don't know I guess I do not get this not so new addition from quite a while ago. My first presentation is slides from Mexico City and I want to add after this presentation a presentation of Cancun. But If I add Key West presentation a total of (3) three presentations my key west show is showing in place of cancun. Perhaps you can only chain just one show after the first one? could someone give me detailed as possible instructions on how to..... Harry
