Can you try to use a free 7zip utility to unpack that ZIP archive, as Daniel recommended you above.

I think that PTE AV Studio should be able create a large backup in a ZIP.

ZIP files larger than 4GB (3.6GB) use a special ZIP64 file format. Some old ZIP utilities cannot unpack correctly such large ZIP archives.

I tested with last relaease of total commander 11 and also last relaese of 7ZIP. Same error

ok, but then we loose the feature from pte to archive all the project files, not less ,not more. using external 7Z is always possible but could lead to some error

Using last PTE release 11 PRO, I created a big project with ~350 photos / videos and sound (MP3.)

 

everythng goes fine until 4K video creation.

 

When I want to save all my project in an archive ZIP as I was use to do with previous release, I obtain a 3.6GB file, but I have a zip error when trying to open it "Unexpected end of data"

 

I didn't find any forum article about this so I created a new topic

(My SSD drive is formated on NTFS, using Windows 11, so I don't believe this is a formatting issue)

[Better control Audio track from an video clip when mixing with music M]

I very often mix photo and short video sequence in my slideshows.

I also add some ambiance music (MP3) along the slideshow. But when video is inserted, sometime I want to keep original audio track from my video and make the music mp3 "Pauzed" and then resumed after the video clip

The only way to do this, is to finish the slide show. Write accurately the different sequences timestamps

Use audacity to play with the different tracks (mp3 / audio_from_Video) and use timestamp to create a new unique audio track to be inserted in P2E.

This is very heavy !!

Can we have an option, when video track is inserted in P2E, to manage easily the different audio source ?

I've added some H264 movie in my slideshow. I want to mute the background music when the movie is played and listen to the movie sound. Then next slide, back to background music of the P2E show.

How can I do that in last beta release ?

Thank you, I think I'm guessing what could cause this problem. We'll try fix this in following beta. Please let me know additional information - did you use successfully previous beta releases (Beta 1-8) or version 6.5 for this video output?

No I used this beta-9 for the first time. And when I tried to open the same project with 6.5, it notifies me that it could not be compatible. However, if I continue, I have the same problem with video generation on 6.5

Any idea when Beta 10 will be available ?

With last beta 9, I can't generate a video file from my slideshow. EXE is fine, but not output to any video format

I've Windows 7 64bit

I got first an error about .mpa file

then X264.exe crashes

The video generation process continues, but the file generated is 0 bytes

Any idea ?
