Thanks again Davy, I Dloaded IMG burn nice clean and simple interface compared to Nero, granted Nero has my back up software and other "Bloatware" Good heads up on the tool bar

Well folks have managed to get the DVD's made, did a delete of Nero 12, unistalled both PTE 7.5.2 and 7.5.10, redownloaded-- burned slow 4x and can go to the funeral home tomorrow for a test, then some CD cover print and my Honey Do list for this sad project is done )+: Family funeral slideshows tear my heart out. Thanks everyone for the advice and software suggestions, very much appreciated.

Well folks, un-installing Nero12 seems to have been the ticket!!!! I have made one DVD on a DVD+RW and am now doing one on a DVD-R Hopefully when I reinstall Nero, it behaves and plays nice!!!!! I will be contqacting them anyway, as I really don't like software that does things like this ( take control and disable other software ) or disrupt our workflow!!! Thanks for the support guys & Gals, I don't post often, but Lurk&Learn and much appreciate the gracious sharing many members have freely given!! (+:

Not the very latest, but Nero 12, but have read it can be flaky, at times, if you don't do a complete uninstall of previous versions. I have now done that, purchased an Uninstall program that clears the register of " Leftovers, so I'll see if that solves the issue and then I'll reinstall

BTW. I did burn a MPG. file and it's 588MB and a EXE. file that is 55 MB My DVD-R are 4.7 GB

Having a real problem I hope the Gurus can shed light on. I had PTE 7.5 but my Video builder license was overdue and I had upgraded from the original purchase and not saved my older PTE, so I figured that was why I was having a "run time " issue or maybe a conflict with Nero 12???? I keep getting a message " Application requested Runtime to terminate in an unusual way, contact application support team " Was from " Microsoft Runtime Visual C++ Library I have read past posts and watched Yachtman's video and thought upgrading the whole program to the newer Deluxe 7.5.10 and getting the latest License would solve the problem, but No Go I have my keys for Nero12, as well as the exe file. So I could delete it ( it pops up while I'm trying to Publish in PTE, but I would not know where the project files would be anyway!! I did make an ISO file, but can't seem to figure out how to burn it in Nero Any help would be greatly appreciated, I seem to have become to official slideshow maker for family funerals )+: and my wife's Mom has past, the last time I used PTE to to make one for her Dad's funeral over a year ago and that went smoothly. Only thing I upgraded was Nero and now the new PTE 7.5.10 I'm in Canada, so using the North American standard for TV, so kinda bummed out Thanks

Hurreeeeeh, I just removed the > symbols from the Key Code text and hit activate and all seems to be GREAT!!!! V7.07 working and showing no Evaluation message in my past Shows, the About screen shows fully functioning copy, I/m soooooooo relieved, Was dreading doing the slideshow in Corel and relearning another program on such short notice. I love this program and only scratched the surface with it and will be picking the brains of the more experienced members in the coming while. Thanks again Hopefully this little glitch will perhaps help someone as well, No mention of deleting the > was in the email, so not sure what I did when I first installed it all. Anywho, thanks

Thanks Dave, just checked and there are two V6.5 and V7, oddly enough, I'm getting the same request from V6.5 and it's not excepting the key code either. Yes, still have the original email and program download, but thanks for the links. I just can't remember how I took advantage of the upgrade to V7. as I'm pretty careful to save and backup stuff. Hopefully, support will have a quick resolution I am following the original email instructions to the letter, but am wondering if the > points are making a difference?

Hi all, hoping to get some help. We purchase V6.5 deluxe and, due to the time frame in which the purchase was made, we received an email advising us about V7. and that those whose prior purchase fell within certain date of purchase, could upgrade at no cost. I submitted my request, and was happily running V7. Yesterday after seeing the numerous "Fixes" in V7.7 I decided to update, low and behold my original key won't work and it seems V7.7 has over wrote the V7. that was working. I thought the update would find the key code from my existing copy and simply install the fixes. My problem is, although I saved the original V6.5 that was purchased and the key code, I can't see how I got V7. and now all my prior shows are being label with some text saying, Made with Evaluation copy or something similar. I submitted a ticket, but I don't think they quite understood the issue. I'm afraid to uninstall and try reinstalling everything and make things worse ( I only seem to have the original V6.5 files ) Would restoring to a Restore Point solve this issue? Would unistalling and reinstalling V7. work ( in the Previous release Section, V7. isn't listed, I guess because it's the current release ) I'm hoping for a way out of this, I have an important slideshow to make for my wife's father's funeral this Saturday and now I have screwed up my functioning V7. program. Thanks for any insights.
